I am hoping someone here can help me with some information. My application was recieved by vsc on dec 1 2008. It is no almost 11 months of waiting, no rfe no nothing until the other day. I have had my congressman send a letter with only a response of continued proceesing. I had sent an service request in aug 09 and then emailed the appropiate center and recieved tge response of, " ur case is delayed due to security clearances, contact us in 6 months if u dont hear from us in that time. " and a bunch of other ####### they wrote. I have been with my fiancee now 3 times, just returned from a two week visit with her. I am going back in Jan, i miss her so much. Does anybody know of this security clearance deal? . I had the state police here to a background check on me and it was returned in 3 days with minor offenses when i was 20 ( 22 years ago) and all dismissed no convictions. April is 20 years old and a good woman from a good family. I dont understand why this is taking so long, can somebody please help me with information? and anything else i can do??? thank you, kevin
