For the middle-aged man who was tied to the old nag hag bag american wife, and who now has a petite young wife, having her dress up in a cute, tiny, yes, even sexy outfit, makes the man so proud and FEEL like a million bucks. It's all about the FEELING. :star:

Halloween isn't a day to celebrate sexuality though, it's steeped in a tradition of remembering those who have passed on, the night of all the souls. I am not offended by sexy costumes, I just wonder why one would consider that more appropriate than something which at least has a connection with death - albeit somewhat fanciful and often ghoulish and/or macabre.

At the end of the day, it's ending up being 'fancy dress and candy' night. Rather uninspiring really.

Still... b/c it IS hilarious its easy to see why some people would be offended.

If it wasn't so easy to confuse it with something so *real* and HUMAN... then perhaps it wouldn't have gotten so much attention. When you dehumanize any group, you can use humor to get away with the most offensive things. Many fascists would be proud of this sort of behavior.

If it would have come in a more Men in Black gettup... then I would have thought about it for me.
