Another Police Clearance Question

Hello Fellow VJ'ers.

Is there a system that the USEM uses to know if the beneficiary has been out of the country for 6 months and requires a police clearance other than what we put down on the applications and what's on the passport?

The reason I ask is there is nothing on our application and her passport (passport renewed) regarding her short stay in Kuwait and we didnt really want to have to go to Kuwait just to get a police clearance, if an NBI clearance would do.

If she didn't stay in Kuwait for more than 6 months, then no need for her to ask for a police clearance.

Don't even think about it..they will know that.

If Kuwait does not provide PCC to those citizen that is no longer residing in Kuwait, then you don't have to worry about it.

Just like here in Saudi arabia, once you left the country, they will not give you PCC.

If an applicant entered another country or different countries, but only stayed in each country for less than 6 months, a police clearance is NOT needed from that country (those countries).

However, she still has to list that country (those countries) as one of the (many) places she visited on her DS-157 as required by the USEM.

To prevent getting an RFE simply write a short letter explaining the the country doesn't allow you to get a Police Clearance after you've left thst country and include it in the packet in place of the Police Clearance.

The Embassy knows it and even NVC because it's all listed on Reciprocity.

I used to work in Kuwait but I didnt get Police clearance we wrote a letter of Hardship instead.
