Its been a week already and we have not heard anything about my husbands visa. How long does administrative Review take? This is so sad and frustrating. I thought because they kept my husbands passport it would be quicker.

Could be 2 weeks could be 2 years. Although, since they have his passport it probably won't be too long.

Sorry to hear that, but no one can predict the exact time frame, it depends how do they do all the necessary background checks.

It took us about 8 months to get our Visa after the interview while in Administrative Process. We even had our Congress person helping us and still not helping any. Just be patient and it will come in no time. Good luck.

Yes, fustrating as it may be it is now a common part of the process. 4-8 months average.

It seems strange that they would keep his passport for that long. 8months is a long time to keep someones pass port.
