My case, K1/fiancee

On AP for 15 months now,

hi guys,

here is my story, i was told by the embassy via e-mail that our case is under administrative processing. I only communicate with the US embassy through e-mail,

lately, for the past 4 months, i am receiving mails from embassy , saying your case is under admin review. so the message changed from processing into review.

I send them many e-mails inquired on my case, and the fact that is under Admin processing or Admin review, and no response by the embassy, Finally i had to use my senator, to send them a letter, their response is that case is under Admin Processing, and the embassy has sent many follow ups on my case, still pending, and my case is not a unique case?

My question is that on this forum i have seen people saying there is a difference between admin processing and review,

does is mean if Admin processing, DOS does that

or Admin Review, this is being taking care by the Embassy,

they said they have sent many follow ups on my case, did they mean Washington D.C. for a background check?

can some one please advise?

Nobody seems to know the real difference. But if I were you I'd contact my congressman.
