INITIAL REVIEW?

My NOA1 was mailed from VSC on October 7, 2009.

Ok so now when I enter my case number it shows 'INITIAL REVIEW"

What does that mean?

Do they normally go right from "ACCEPTANCE" to Initial Review?

How do you tell when the package is being "TOUCHED"?

Whenever you case is being processed, that is generally after you receive your NOA-1, the system will say "Initial Review" till your file is touched and processed and a decision is made. No worries, its all good !

good day, every now and then i've been checking my email update from USCIS. I got my mail for AOS interview but still in my email it's still on INITIAL REVIEW mark.

well, my interview will be scheduled this 22nd but i decided to get for INFOPASS tomorrow w/c is the 17th earlier than what is scheduled.

I have only recently learned that "initial review" includes everything from acceptance to approval. Seems like thay have updated their terms, it used to say "pending". It will prbably say initial review for a while. You may or may not ever get a "touch". Our file never got a touch and was never updated, we just got the approval in the mail.
