I just checked out their website. You've got me curious enough to try it! Now I'm wondering where I'll be able to find it here in the states - especially in So. Cali.

You can get it mail order from the british shops http://www.britishdelights.com/marmite.htm

A dollop of marmite is good in gravy too on roast dinners!

Also, if you are in the South Bay area, there's a shop on Torrance Blvd in Torrance called The British Connection. Or at least there was six months or so ago. I haven't been there in a while. A bit pricey but the owners are really nice. They have haggis and black pudding too. Blech

It looks like they are online.

Thanks! I'll look into it. I'm in the OC though. One of the guys here - he and his wife are from the UK. I'll see if he knows of any places nearby. B)

Dipping Wendy's fries in your frosty.

I had a friend in high school who used to do it all the time and I thought it was so gross, I used to make fun of her. Finally she got me to try it, and I have to admit, it's really good. Hot and cold, solid and liquid, sweet and salty, all at once.

I got a craving for that while pregnant with my first child and have never lost the taste for it :P

Love to drink Clamato juice with my popcorn. And eat the popcorn with chopsticks. Yup. I have been known to drink pickle juice every once in a while too, yummy.

not too weird. pickle juice is good if you lose your voice.

I can see using the chopsticks with popcorn if your one of those that cant stand anything on

your finger tips. my ex husband was like that. he would eat fried chicken with a napkin

I thought - thats cheating!! lick your fingers like the rest of us..

my nephew < 6 > is that way too. he dont like anyting on his hands! nothing wet , or sticky.

which is good he keeps his hands clean.

Anybody else combine foods that make others look at you like you're strange?

Bacon and peanut butter sandwiches?

Spaghetti with maple syrup?

mustard in your mac and cheese?

I like to put Doritos inside my sandwich - makes it soft yet crunchy.

I like frog legs with just about anything, but my favorite at any meal time is simply mixing up different foods in every bite. :content:
