Getting crazy for waiting fringerprint appointment

Hello:

It has been 45 days since I got my first NOA of EAD and AOS application. But I haven't received any fringerprint appointment yet. I totally agree that calling the 800 number is wasting time so I want to go to Infopass to check out.

However, I am in CA now and my application address is in Las Vegas. Can I go to Infopass in CA or I have to go to Las Vegas office for Infopass?

Thanks a lot and Happy Valentine's Day. *^_^*

Happy Valentine's Day to you as well, Dorane!

I waited and waited (6 months) and decided to call CIS to get fingerprinting dates.

I just said 'I called to make appointment for fingerprinting' and you know what? I did it the next day!

Make sure to get 'comfirmation number' since the immigration officials at the fingerprinting place will ask for the letter. You can just say you did reservation on the phone, give the name of the person you talked to and give the confirmation number.

Good luck and don't go crazy *^^*

My husband received his appointment letter 70 days after the NOA1. While it wouldn't hurt to see if you could get an appointment, I believe you have to wait 90 days after the NOA1 before they'll give you an appointment manually, via infopass.
