most likely a copy of the passport bio page and a couple passport photos like what korea wants. You might want to create a new thread on these areas specifically. I had told my wife that she needed to get it in both her maiden and married name, but they told her just to put her name in her passort (maiden name). We didnt get married until after her being in korea, but I dont have a good answer for you on this.

know this is an old thread, but curious the outcome of some of these. did they ask for the record/cert? is the dos travel site really inaccurate?

Like I told you...if there is a way to get it... I would get it reguardless...or at least attempt it. It doesnt cost anything and if she applied now, then that is 2 weeks less waiting in the end if they do need it.

The embassy didnt "ask" for it, but it was already in the package from the NVC...we werent a K-1 visa.
