Timeline
One of the things that I am amazed at here is the amount of time my co-workers spend surfing the net and emailing.... we were never allowed to do much of that in the UK... but as you can see I am a fast learner...... :lol::lol::lol:

Be careful - many companies monitor your internet usage and will not be happy if you are surfing non-work related sites too much or other sites that are "inappropriate" for the office (I don't mean the obvious - there's lots that fit this description)

I'm a teacher and enjoy the work. It's for a third grade level, 8 - 9 year olds, at a Catholic private school. I've been fairly lucky really as I am not qualified to teach here or in the UK. I got the job off the back of two internships I did when I first came to the States. I think the work may be harder than in the UK as it's a longer day and I'm working alongside nuns. But the cost of living is a lot better and I'm content.
