Yes, glad he's ok but his brothers knew where he was all along and yet said nothing :angry:

It seems they video taped him getting in. No one saw him get out.

Towards the end of Wolf Blitzer's interview with the boy (who names their kid "Falcon" anyway??), the boy was asked why he didn't come out when he heard his parents calling for him. He replied, "You guys said (referring to his parents), 'We did it for the show'."

CNN, FNC, MSNBC all got more viewers during that time. They can pay the county.

The thing is they already announce that they will not gonna get billed, they spend the whole day chasing after a balloon for nothing.

Admittedly, for a 6 year old, 'doing it for the show' can seem 'the normal thing'. He's been on TV a LOT in the last 2 years, and his entire family puts on a YouTube Channel with lots of stuff.

IMO, he has some 'reality issues' - ie - when is it real life, and when is it for the camera? He and his brothers run the camera shots every day, putting together new material for their 'Family Science Experiments' stuff (most of which haven't aired yet on YouTube and are mostly still in post-production / digital video edit/compositing with the Mama ) - so IMO - his answer seemed 'normal' to him.

OTOH - I don't think he really meant what he said - I think he was emotionally drained most of the day and just confused.

I watched his father's reaction when he said that - somethings going on there, but I truly don't believe the family purposefully staged this event.

On a lighter note - WOW - I would like to play with a similar helium balloon setup - if the payload can be under 100 pounds... No No, no humans or animals - just a small payload of electronics and monitoring devices.

That brings up an interesting question - was the family paid for the interview with Wolf Blitzer? If so, maybe those monies can be rehomed to pay the bill ... I did hear , though, that the family wasn't going to be billed for it all (let's see wot happens tomorrow, ah? )
