Great Topic! I can't wait to take Aziz...downtown Seattle, the creek behind my apartment that has all the cherry trees and ripening blackberries by it...in my neighborhood where there are squirrels and beaver...Honestly, I just moved back here myself and want to explore everything with him....*sigh* Just take him to a restaurant or for a drive across the Cascades. Its going to be so beautiful...

Esalaam and Hello everyone... (F)

Love this topic...finally something to brighten our days.... and make us laugh, forget all the heartbreaking wait...

Well...hmmm...I envision Medy and I .... (wow like a long list suddenly popped into my head)

Coming straight from the airport...all frustrated and tired from all the waiting they make you go through....something like 2 hours after you depart from the plane they finally let you out...

driving together in the highway holding hands, totally shocked and in awe of finally getting the visa...then making a little special prayer in our minds cos of this very special day...a tear or two may fall...but happy ones...depending on the time we would share a pastry at this elegantly hip Lebanese bakery I know or if its too late then hit one of the 24 hour diners...share a milkshake, not even really drink it...just stare at each other for a while...have our first "date" (lol thats sounds funny) well our American date... ...then after he complained of being soo tired we drive home...some Sade in the background and in total silence....

hmmmmm that would be something I envision now ...LoL Im so full of my self.... :P

Peace and Blessings... (Im smiling for the rest of the day :D )

I made a list in my head of all the things that I would show Rachid and all the fun we would have, but the list that we both keep is all the places (when he would get here) that we are going to kiss.... like kiss in my car, kiss behind my parents barn, kiss in the rain, he wanted to sneek kisses when I was working, things like that. Well when he first go here all I wanted to do was feed him... my sister and I took him to all kinds of resturants and ice cream shops.... he loved them all.... but now my sister wants to take him to the amusement park and feed him a funnel cake, cotton candy, then stick him on the devil rollar coaster and watch him get sick  hehehehe

I love reading all of these.

I also cant wait to take Hicham to our huge Farmers MArket on Thurs nights where they have live music, great food, interesting people (the man who walks back and forth with his sign saying we are all goign to hell- love that one), and of course the produce, carmel apples, the one moroccan restaurant in town...

I think it just sunk in that Hicham is actually coming soon. Weird. I better go before I cry haha.

Have a great day!

My husband was very underwhelmed with the stores that I thought would wow him.

The things that have gotten the most reaction have related more to nature and the environment. Discovering squirrels, bunnies and opossum in our yard, seeing a lightning bug for the first time, how we can just drive a few miles and take a long walk in the woods that allows you to completely forget you are in a city, murals in the city, some of the city sponsored gardens, etc.

Oh, the library was a big hit.
