Many use them here where I live, its a university town and students use them a great deal.

They are not overly dangerous if you pay attention and don't drive like you are in Manila...

They do require a drivers license and here in Iowa that would be hard to get until you have your EAD...

I am talking just going to the store to pick up some needs and stuff like that not as her main vehicle!!!!! I will try to get her to drive........ ......please help us all when she is on the road !!!!

Nope....mopeds????? even motorcyclers dont survive the minor crash in U.S....I always rode motorcycles and mopeds and all that good fun back in the home country but dont recommend it in America...

I ride a 2008 Tomos Streetmate R back and forth to work here in Montana(United States) and it works fine for me. I don't think I would recommend buying one for your lady though. Too Dangerous overall.

I would recommend buy her a Smart car or Toyota Yaris once she get her driving license. Riding a moped or motorcycles are very dangerous.

We have one here and one in China. They can both drive them and they are no more dangerous than bicycles in the USA. Check your local/state laws. Many places treat them the same as bikes, no license required.
