Pinoy Mnemonics

Back in Philippines, I observed that a lot of Pinoys use mnemonics for fun. For example, probably every Pinoy has heard of these:

N = No

P = Permanent

A = Address

which means... someone who moves from place to place.

NPA actually stands for the National People's Army.

P = Palamunin

N = Ng

A = Asawa

which means...your husband/wife feeds you.

PNA actually stands for the Philippine Nurses Association.

What is your favorite Pinoy mnemonic? :whistle::)

PMA also means you have to rest for the meantime.

Years ago, I asked my high school classmate about her plan after graduation. She jokingly told me "I will be in PMA".

I think some Filipinos who cannot afford to go to school or lose a job recently want to make light of their situation until they can get back on track again. :thumbs:
