Why can't I just post all my questions under one topic?

Anyway, during the interview, is it fine to bring only one set of chat record from every month and one or two mails representing each month... or as many as 5-10 per month as some suggested? We don't have phone bills because we use prepaid cards, just two greeting cards snail mailed, and no engagement ring receipt but we chat almost daily and e-mail one another once or more everyday. We have photos together, photos with my family and friends, etc. His mom and I also e-mail each other once in a while.

My fiance is not coming over for my interview. Is it true that applicants whose petitioners are present during the interview get ahead of the queue?

How was it for you?

Bring everything you can as proof of your relationship. If you have phone cards, collect them all and put it in a zip lock plastic bag (I did that with mine). Even e-mails from his mom can be included. You may also want to include sworn affidavits from relatives or friends who have knowledge about your ongoing relationship. If you have pictures of you and your fiance with the friend or the relative who provided the affidavit, that will also help.

The queueing system in the Immigrant Visa Unit (where you will be interviewed) is similar to when you went to SLMCEC to await the releasing of your x-ray CD and immunization record: while you have a number, they will not call the numbers consecutively. You just wait to see your number being flashed on the screen. In case you miss your number, your name will be called over the PA system.

In my case, my number was 7010. I watched 7008, 7009, 7011, 7012, 7013 and 7014 called ahead of me before I was even called. lol

I don't think having a petitioner with the applicant gives them preferential treatment.

Who said you couldn't? If you ask too many questions in one topic there is a chance not all of them will get answered.

The amount of evidence needed will depend upon the Consulate Officer (CO) doing the interview. What I did was to copy and paste of a years worth of Yahoo archives then selected a few chats to prove the user names belong to us.

The order in which you were selected depended upon where you were seated before. Two USCs we know flew to the interview together. Their respective interviews were the same time and day. Couple one sat near the front and were done by 10 AM. Couple two sat in the rear near the bathrooms and did not get done until after 2 PM. Couple one was called up to get a queue very early. Couple two's row was called to get a queue almost last.

Hi! I think one chat log per month is ok. I just passed my interview yesterday thank God. I only have two chat logs the first time we met and two at the mid of our relationship and two at present. Good luck on your interview. God Bless
