Hi all,

I am non British citizen and I am apply for a IR-1 at the US embassy (package 3) in London UK as part of DCF.

I have lived in UK from Aug 2004 till date. Do I need to get Police certificate from my previous country?

As I have live here for more than 5 years now can I get away with UK Police certificate only?

Thanks for your help.

Regards

You suppose to get police certificate from all the places where you have lived since age 16 until now.

Unless you are under the age of 21, you can't get away with submitting just a British police certificate. You need a police certificate from every country you have lived in since the age of 16.

And don't forget to have the police certificate from the country/ies your lived in prior to 2004 translated.

Good luck.

Yes, obtain a Police Certificate for all places you have resided in since age of 16, for 6 months or more.

This is to try and eliminate any further queries

Best of Luck. Best wishes. Thank you.
