Is AR-11 Confusion

Hi all,

My fiancee in Guangzhou, China moved (within same city) after NOA1 notice but prior to receiving the NOA2. According to the language below from the immigration case status website (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/CaseStatus.do) it seems I should fill out form AR-11 for her.

"If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

Besides the poorly worded language, my problem is the form only allows US addresses in the "state" field. Is this only for the applicant, in other words not for the beneficiary?

Aside from AR-11, I was also going to email the Guangzhou Consulate and National Visa Center. Is there another "tool" that I am not aware?

Any help is greatly appreciated and will save my sanity. Everyone's help has gotten me to the next stage, so I am grateful, so thanks again!

AR-11 is only for the petitioner.

I recommend a shotgun approach:

1. (if casefile still at NVC) - email NVC with the updated address.

2. (if casefile has left NVC and GUZ # is assigned ) - email GUZ IV unit. FAX GUZ IV Unit with address in Roman and Chinese characters.
