I like this good cop bad cop game you two are playing. Definitely a first. Unfortunately in doing so, you have derailed another posters thread, who is trying to ask legitimate questions.

Keep that sort of ####### in EP.

I did post a serious reply. I asked about Melbourne.

I posted about Bondi Beach. And the Blue Mountains. And Kosher food.

I blame Charles. He brought up the sheep first.

You're right, it was Charles. We try to participate and Charles derails the thread with the sheep talk. We must resist.

Resistance is futile.

Melbourne is love. I miss living there every day. (L)

Not a big fan of Sydney, nice for a day or two to see the sights, but not a vacation spot for me. One of the nicest things to do for me was to walk from Bondi Beach to Cogee Bay (on the coastline), going past Tamarama & Bronte Bay and walking past the old cementary between Bronte and Clovelly Bay. A beautiful thing to do on a sunny day. The walk back and forth is about 6 miles, so it's not too far.

As for vegemite, it's goodness in a jar. You thinly spread it on buttered toast/ bread. It's a yeast based product, actually the residue produced when beer ferments. Best thing to do is to top it with cheese and broil it for a few minutes until the cheese melts! Try the cheesymite scroll at Bakers Delight for an easy vegemite start.

Make sure you do not taste the Vegemite straight out of the jar, as you will not like it.

At the very least, you need to butter your warm toast and then spread a thin amount and try it.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

What does it taste like? Is it like putting honey on toast?

Nah. It has a bitter/salty taste to it. I have not had it in a while, so I cannot describe it in detail.

It's similar to the British marmite. I would not recommend anyone tasting it for the first time, doing so out of a jar.

I don't know what marmite is either.

rancid peanut butter.

Both have a salty and strong taste, bitter& sour at the same time, kind of tingles your gums a little bit.

sounds like what my first girlfriend said after she gave me a bj. :innocent:
