I was reading the information in packet 4 for a K1. In this packet it states that you can pay for the visa process directly through the NVC in St Louis. Is this payment different from the application fees you are required to pay at Banamex and when you arrive at the Consulate? I am a little confused now... I does say that if you pay directly you are not required to pay when you get there. Also, what does this payment cover? Medical exam and all application fees?

Thanks!

Do you have the link to this information? I have never heard of a packet 4 for a K1.

The letter I received from the NVC has a web address at the bottom. This is where I found out about packet 4...

Here is the link from the letter...

Those forms say July 2008. Look at the Juarez Consulate website and they have updated documents listed there. I wouldn't trust expired documents.

I agree with Chinman I wouldn't trust expired documents. Also the process isn't 400 dollars. The medical is about 181 and the interview is around 171 it just depends on the exchange rate. I wouldn't feel comfortable paying the fee like that, but that is just my opinion.

There was someone in the Juarez thread who paid their fee at a Banamex in Queretaro, but the fee they charged was wrong so once he was in Juarez he had to pay the difference.
