okay, when I received my RFE I noticed questions regarding military crimes....i hope that just because I'm prior military that it wouldn't slow the process because now they look at my military records also. Has anyone who is prior military confronted there service center about this situation of possibly more delays of back ground check? Just because i served my country I hope that this will not delay our prosses that much longer.

I doubt that being military will slow down the process. I guess that they will use the NCIS sytem that the FBI uses for gun purchases to check everyone. If you have a hit then they will investigate further. I filed a little after you. Did you get a statement from UCIS to the effect that your application has already been processed and that your decision time will be shorter than the published timelines?

Since you signed the RFE and stated that you are telling the truth I think they will not investigate further. If they are following the law as written they are not to do any additional checks other than the normal checks they did before. The ones from Vermont are getting post IMBRA approvals and I am sure some of them are vets.
