Hi,

I have sent packet-3 to new delhi embassy on 11 oct , can anybody advice me how much time still remaining for me to have a interview, i called embassy but there are not telling me any timings as of yet.

It will take about good 3-4 weeks before you hear back from them. I would say early next month in your case. but mean while you can keep on calling them each week.

I called embassy each week and finally they told me the interview was schedule for 29th Oct. so it took us about 3 weeks.

You should get your Packet 4 with your scheduled interview date in no more than two weeks or less. The interview date is generally one month later after getting the packet 4.

Stupid question probably, but what is packet 3? And I thought the NVC scheduled and sent you the inteview dates? Is it different for Delhi/India?

You dont need to worry about packet 4, you are a CR1 filer. Packet 3 and 4 are ONLY issued to Kfilers.

NVC will schedule the CR1 interviews!! You dont need to worry about postings in this mis placed thread.

We're with you 100%. You won't be the first and you won't be the last...it's quite natural...to be nervous, panicky and maybe even a little 'light-headed' when going through what you're going through. And remember....just because yours is a CR1 doesn't mean that we K1's are not capable of giving support when needed.
