If you have red flags then you have red flags, you are better off addressing them with an abundance of proof of the legitimacy of your relationship rather than trying to invent where you met.... Is it unfair to decide your life in 10 minutes... Yes, but that is how it is.... just prepare

I agree with other posters that really, logically speaking, unless you went to a university together or something, where else would you meet a nigerian spouse/fiance other than online... Not like you "happen" to be doing some grocery shopping in Nigeria and ran into each other.... I think MOST have met on the internet.... Always tell the truth, gather your evidence (photos, chats, e-mails, plane tickets, affadavits as to the validity of your relationship and everything else) to counteract any objections or questions the CO might have and you should be fine....

Exactly, great post christeen . The key is to have submitted a very strong evidence package; and be ready to answer any questions, truthfully.

Do lots of reading in the regional forum to get as much Lagos specific feedback and coaching as you can. It's a tough consulate, and you know it. Being well prepared will serve you well.
