how would i know if my IV bill is ready for payment? will i get mail from NVC? or email from them? im the agent of my mom. and also, another thing, when to submit DS230? are these all something i will wait signal from NVC?

go online at www.ImmigrantVisa.State.gov go online payment or find a way to pay IV bill . once NVC recieved your payment , print the receipt and the cover letter with barcode and send it with the documents the NVC requested. Including the DS 230 part 1 and part 2. Address can be found on the cover letter you print out.

You will not be able to pay your IV bill until NVC accept your DS-3032. Once NVC accept it then they will send you an email and let you know it time to pay your IV bill. Once you pay your IV bill, you have to wait for 2-3 day to be processed. Once your status show "PAID" then you send in DS-230 to NVC.

Please take a look at this post. Do NOT pay until you get the IV Bill in the email, even if the fee payment site lets you pay it.

Sorry Export, have to disagree on that one.

We paid both the fees the moment they showed up on site with no problem whatsoever. The emails turned up three or four days later.

08/10/09 : I-130 Approved

08/14/09 : I-130 NOA2 Received

08/17/09 : NVC Case Numbers issued

08/17/09 : Called NVC and registered email addresses against Case Number

08/20/09 : Received DS-3032 & I-864 Bill

08/20/09 : Paid I-864 Bill

08/21/09 : Returned Completed DS-3032 Forms (by email)

08/23/09 : Receive I-864 Package

I paid for the IV fees for both of my parents a day before I received an email that I can do so.

After a few days, I called NVC and was told that I should have waited for the email before paying even if the site allows me to. The rep also added that it will take them 10-15 business days for them to fix this.

I called again after a few minutes and was told that it's OK. So, I don't really know which is true.

Anyhow, after 3 days, my payment cleared and was able to print the cover page and was able to mail both of my parents' DS-230.
