Proof of ongoing relationship

Not really - if the proof had to be stuff with both your names on it - then very few would have any proof at all. There is a bit of the honesty system at work here - immigration proof of ongoing relationship is a grey area - they just want to believe you - so give them what you have got.

Logically, if someone came to me and said - make up a package of relationship proof for us, it would take me a couple of days to get it together, but I certainly could. There is photoshop for pictures - emails would be incredibly easy to forge.

Now i'm not suggesting this of course, just saying that the honesty system is at work here, so if you are being honest with them and provide all of the proof you can muster, you will be doing well

(and as Julybride mentioned - a picture to back up the receipts is a great idea!)

You could also take a few trips within the US that you would have to fly to get to. You would have itniraries and boarding passes for those trips. I think it would be good as well if it were somewhere that you were meeting up with some family and could include pics with the 2 of you and family together.

I the Canadian citizen is in the United States with my fiance for the next 6 months. I received my NOA1 yesterday. I was wondering when I have to attend my interview in Montreal how do I give proof of an ongoing relationship? we obviously don't e-mail or sned eachother gifts as we live together?

I do have a bank account here and he added me onto his phone plan. I'll have plenty of dated photos. Does anyone have anymore suggestings what I should bring? Thank You

All of us should know that we need to pay particular attention to generating evidence (honest and legal) to help prove our relationships, for whatever interview we will be attending. Yiou two may need to do special things to generate different evidence; take a trip somewhere and list both names on the receipt, affidavits from family and friends, email each other, call each other on the phone, visit back to Canada, etc, etc.

All of the evidence, may of itself, be small and insignificant, but put all together, it should tell your story. Hopefully the story is obvious to a stranger that here are two people intending on marrying and are a couple and are in a real and loving relationship. You need to "tell your story" with your evidence.
