Okay i am frustrated and my fiance is stressing me out.

I can not figure out how to procede to the next step and reading this forum making it more stress. I can't figure out all the codes you guys use LOL I'm a newbie i guess to the abrivations.

so here is where I stand.

I have gotten the acceptance letter.

My fiance has gotten a letter from us embassy i guesss in manila.

What is confusing is it was just one letter. I am readding that some have gotten a packet?

She says that she has to go here http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

to get the info.

So now she has to call and her phone is a prepaid phone the buddy phone. How can we get an interview it says if i call cost 18 dollars us OUCH.

Another thing that is confusing is on this page it says one thing http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

a list of things but when you go here

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html

and click on the packet info it lists a bunch of other things she needs to fill out.

I got side track on my main question LOL

The packet that is for interview it says i need to send her I-134 with my tax return and w2. And on the other page says i need the I-864 or I-864ez.

We are thinking i just do all three also do i have to send her the original? can I copy it and send it in an email with my signiture on my scanner? Or do i actually have to mail it to her? This will take about 1 1/2 weeks to get to her in manial.

Again any help or dirrection with this will relieve the stress cause at this point she is almost to the point she wants to quit cause it is sooooo stress full and is tired of beign with out me :-(

Thanks

Robert

june 24th got the three letters

Robert,

I know this is stressful...we are going thru the same thing right now...The one thing you have to do is stop and breathe...If you go through this stuff too quickly, you are likely to make mistakes. ALL of the packet 3's are now just a letter that sends you to the specific website of the embassy. All the you need to know and the forms she needs to download are on there. I am familiar with the UK somewhat because that is where my fiance is so I am not going to tell you something wrong in case her embassy is different. The I-134 is required. You need to download the forms and get all of the necessary paperwork together. UPS has a good rate to overnight documents only so that you can get it to get as soon as you can. She will have to fill out all of the forms and send them into the embassy. There should be a checklist that she will send in as well that lets the embassy know that she is ready for the interview or atleast that is the case in the UK. Until she sends that in, they will not schedule the interview, so that will give you some time to get her the documents you need to get to her...Also, there are forums on here that are broken down by region. Go through them for her region and read as much as you can...there are people who have been through the process there that can help. I know this is stressful...just take your time...it will be okay...Atleast that is what I keep telling myself that...

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2): 1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

5. You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail.

7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now).

Examples: Copies of phone bills, cell phone bills, emails (you can edit personal info with a marker), letters (edit personal info also), stamps on the letters (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

K-1 I-134 only

Yes get a letter from your job if you can.

Make sure your I-134 is original I recommend signing it in Blue Ink (make a copy of your package to keep)

Um...since you seem worried about the $18. You know about the $131 visa fee, medical exam fee and $1010 AOS fee? Right?

You need the I-134 for the consulate interview and the I-864 for the AOS. (AOS= Adjustment of Status, after she arrives and you are married)

You also, very much, need to read the guides above. They will give you so much better answers than any multitude of people here can

To keep things simple read this K1 Manila Embassy Guide and ignore section 4.5 as it is no longer used. section 5.1 is now Air21, but the rest of the guide is accurate:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=129059

For the I-134 you need tax returns and w2 for the last three years or Tax transcripts from the IRS (are free), a letter from employer, and recent paystubs. Your signature on the I-134 needs to be an original and not a copy. Keep a copy for yourself. You can send copies of transcripts or tax returns, but there is a very small chance the Consulate Officer may ask to see the originals.

This link will help you with most of the abbreviations: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...page=definition

other acronyms

USEM = US Embassy - Manila

SLEC or SLMEC = St. Lukes Medical Extension Clinic.

CFO = Commission on Filipino Overseas

NSC = National Statistics Center

CO = Consulate Officer

After you read the K1 Manila Embassy Guide you will see all your questions have been answered.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

So Your saying i need the i-134 too and the other one i-864? i will fill those out too then.

so should i call now to schedule an appointment or like the person for the UK THANK YOU should I wait til we have everything done and she has everything.

She has to go up to manila just to get birth cirtifict. So should i wait till she gets my stuff? I read that it is a 30 day wait so maybe i should call and that way we have time instead of waiting?

thanks again

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2): 1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Oppps i didn't copy anything that i sent with the I-129f :-( I had her copy's of the forms and my forms but didn't think about making copies of the forms

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy. What proof would this be?

3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F). I can do this.

4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all. I wish i would of known that before.

The letter stating that my I-129 was approved?

We were going to meet again but since we figured the approval was quicker we didn't meet. We have phone cards and yahoo records. Will that hurt us?

K-1 I-134 only

Yes get a letter from your job if you can.

Make sure your I-134 is original I recommend signing it in Blue Ink (make a copy of your package to keep)

do we need the 864 also? Also she is worried that if we take to long to respond that might hurt us too?

We need to call theembasy also to set up an appointment and schedule it 3 or 4 weeks away correct?

thanks

Robert

Um...since you seem worried about the $18. You know about the $131 visa fee, medical exam fee and $1010 AOS fee? Right?

You need the I-134 for the consulate interview and the I-864 for the AOS. (AOS= Adjustment of Status, after she arrives and you are married)

You also, very much, need to read the guides above. They will give you so much better answers than any multitude of people here can

thanks guys for your help with all of this help. I am glad there are people that can guide my ways should fo joined here before i did the first part. :-) I thought i could handle it on my own.

WHAT THE HECK 1000 dollars when does that have to be done after we get married. My gosh she is worth it but dang she is going to be one expensive bride :-) I miss her and love her to death but she is one expensive bride to be LOL

She wants to work as soon as she can to help us get back to saving money. I know there is a step for that but this thread isn't for that lol

So an update, I asked my boss for a letter. Now we are a copraration he can do it right? It doesn't have to come from our home office in Georgia it can come from him right?

june 11th sent AOS paper work

june 24th got the three letters

Yes, your boss can sign it, as long as it has the needed elements of a letter of employment:

- your position in the company

- your start date

- your current income, year to date (HR should have this information)

- your status (full-time)

It should be printed on your company's official letterhead/stationery, and for good measure, when he signs it he should indicare his full name, designation/job title and a contact number where the USEM can verify the letter's contents.

She says that she has to go here http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3217.html

to get the info. you need all original copy items on the check list get her NBI cert and Cenomar at NSO you don't need POLICE CERTIFICATES NBI will cover that.

So now she has to call and her phone is a prepaid phone the buddy phone. How can we get an interview it says if i call cost 18 dollars us OUCH.

You need to make the call

This will take about 1 1/2 weeks to get to her in manial. original copy(s) original signiture(s)Again any help or dirrection with this will relieve the stress cause at this point she is almost to the point she wants to quit cause it is sooooo stress full and is tired of beign with out me :-(

Don't whine! If you think 18 bucks is alot wait till you send her all your signed doc's try DHL 3 day

Thanks

Robert

Correct, as previously stated you will not need to fill out an I-864 until you adjust status after marriage.

I'm having trouble filing it out at the bottom where it says Oath or Affirmation of sponsor. I don't know how to fill that out. Do i have to go to the SS office to get this filled out? Who is the singnature of officer administering oath? Where do i get that?

The signature is yours as you are sponsoring the immigrating beneficiary. Here is a link to the VJ sample I-134 form :http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf
