Hey Yardies!

Good luck tomorrow Heavensent.....

It is a JA thing because Ray was the same way. After he had his visa he was up and down the lane with it.

We had a great weekend. Saturday, hair appt and dinner with Shemmy. Didn't go to the Serani because the weather sucked.

Sunday went to church with hubby and then we went to see Couples Retreat. It was funny.. When Ray saw the island where the retreat was going to take place he pretended to cry saying "I miss Jamaica" all loud. I was like Shhh...lol

That was too funny! Steve said he is not saying anything until the day he is leaving.

OH and CHECK OUT MY TIMELINE!!!!!! I know ....FINALLY

Welcome to the waiting game  I don't know why it takes so long for USCIS to approve petitions for JA  I think the fatstest i've seen was "Toaliwithlove" they got approved in like 13-15 days  but apart from that oh lord 4-8 months :bonk:

Awww man MsS, time to go into overdrive with prayer! How dare USCIS

MsSheka, I suggest you leave the kids & GO! (Then again, I have no kids.)

I agree. Ms. Sheka it sounds like you need a get away so if possible go your kids will be alright for a few days. Plus it will be a mini vacation for you too. You'll be able to get away and just relax and have fun with your hubby for a minute. I rather see you happy with him then miserable waiting till Jan. Just my two cents.

HeavenSent, I hope it works out. I would've been SOOOO MAD if I spent an entire day to retrieve the medical results and they weren't ready. I hate it when the gynecologist has me wait 2 hours to see her (which is why I just changed). Time = Money.

thats what i'm thinking too Nat but its so hard to leave them  but then again it might be a good thing i could use the break

Yes you can leave them leave them. You’re with them every day so a few days away will do the body good. You need sometime to yourself. So just kiss them on the cheek, tell them momma loves you then grab your bags and out the door you go!

Morning Yardies!

Hello everyone....just wanted to catch up and not get too far behind with everyone's progress and adjustments. It seems I can only log on once a week now that I am in school......Glad to see no crazy drama going on

Ells how is Lehi dealing with the weather...although I do know the bay has had a few nice warm days lately...generally..how has the cold/wind/rain effecting him? are you guys gonna go to the Gyptian/Warrior King or Tanya Stephens show next month? they always come my way after passing though the bay first.

Jam Q the party sounds fun and exciting...I know it was fun!

Quana good going on being called for the survey/test...and like that $$ I always get called for ones that pay only $20 for an hour of my time....

Update on my last post....Michael's mom did have a stroke but seems to be doing much better. She has some weakness and slight paralysis...but is back home. He is so silly because he has been gone from Port Antonio since moving over to Hopewell in May and everyone (not family but friends on the lane) thinks he has been in America....So when he came to be with his mom he just kept playing up the story.... I asked him why he doesn't just tell them the truth and he says he hates folks in his business....then starts laughing. I guess if they don't know where he is, they can't cause any problems for him. They were hating on him when we first started dating cause he wouldn't hang out as much as before. I have heard of people who were thought to be "friends" being jealous and try to sabotage their medical or ??? So I guess he knows what is best....even if it is a lie

Sorry to go on and on about nuthin....but avoiding picking up my Anatomy and Physiology ....ok, well....chat later...OH and CHECK OUT MY TIMELINE!!!!!! I know ....FINALLY

Hi M! Lehi has been okay with the weather for the most part. Some days he thinks it's cold but I told him it's gonna get worse come Nov/Dec. Soon I'll have to show him how to get the wall heater started. Overall though, he's adapting pretty well....when we go to hotter places (like inland), he is actually HOT now....& so happy to come back to the cool bay!

I'll have to look up those shows cause I'd like to see one or both! Thanks for the heads up since I haven't been paying attention.

Congrats on getting started in the process!!

Mstee its a Jamaican thing. They dont like to talk about things cause they feel people will bad mind them. I ask Garfield if he told his best friend about his interview next month and he said he is not saying anything to anyone until he have his visa in hand. Me I tell everybody cause I was so happy...

Yeah. Steven didn't want to tell anyone (but his closest family/friends) until things were a done deal.

Lehi was same way.....no one knew until visa was in hand & it was the day before we were leaving before anyone (even best friends) knew anything.
