Oh, quit crying. Ours is in the same tired lunchroom we have every other meal in with the same damn people. At least there is alcohol to soften the "social" time. Worst part is I am in charge of food so I usually end up cooking my #### off the day before, using crock pots and the stove all that morning, and having to at the very least organize some sort of clean up effort. It's exhausting.

Me! Well, if guns let off steam. Steven wants to go to a shooting range. I've never been, so it'll be a new experience for me. When at track meets, the gunshot to start the race makes me jump, so we'll see how this goes...

Quana, I once went with a friend to see John Legend in concert. It was a stand-up only event. Had I know, I would've worn much more comfortable shoes. Biz Markie (sp?) opened the show in a very long "opening." By the time John Legend came out, I could only stand up during a few of his songs. Then I left.

One of the greatest card games we play is called Phase 10. Everyone I teach it to ends up beating the ####### out of whoever else is playing. The best part about it is folks usually get stuck on a phase and gets mad when everyone starts passing them. When the teens play they end up wanting to quit lol

when i went to see john legend it was standing room only too.. but my baby daddy ROBIN THICKE opened up so mi nuh mind LOL.. only thing i did mind was the GUYS in front of my short self and mi cyaan SEE!!!! uh..

when we saw Beres it was at the house of blues, which is standing too, but luckily we snagged some tables in the back..

i don't mind standing just not w/ an 8 yr old LOL

How does Phase 10 go?

There are 10 phases:

i.e. Phase 1 is 2 sets of 3

2 is 1 set of 3 a run of 4

3 is 1 set of 4 a run of 4

4 is a run of 7

5 is a run of 8

6 is a run of 9

7 cards of one color

8 is 2 sets of 4

9 is a set of 5 and a set of 2

10 is a set of 5 and a set of 3

So you are dealt 10 cards and when its your turn and you have your phase (1) you put it out. You always have to pick up and throw out. When others put their phases out you can hit their phase.

Your hand = 3 - 4's and 3 - 6's

Opponents hand = 3 12's and 3 - 11's

if you have any 11's or 12's in your hand you can hit your opponent. Or if they have a 1, 2, 3, or 4, you can hit them with just a 5 or a 5 and a 6. If you have more than what your phase calls for like for the 2 sets of 3 if you have 4 - 4's and 3 - 6's you can put that out. The object of it is to hit other phases to be out.. what ever have left you tally it 1-9 is worth 5 pts 10-12 is 10 points.. wild cards are 25 pts and so are skip cards. You can skip anyone you want but that person can only be skipped once. The cards are four colors and you can mix colors except using the skip cards which are blue, with your 7 cards of one color suit. The first person who has all their phases completed wins. If 2 people do its the person with the least amount of points...

It sounds complicated but its really fun! Master Phase 10 the phase are random. You will always find at least one phase harder than others.

I learned a new card game Screw Your Neighbor... Its a lot of fun.. When I play with the kids I have to change the name though.

I saw Neyo and Trey Sonz at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ...It was pretty nice

The Scream Tour wasn't too bad. It was Trey Songz, Bow Wow, Omarion, Marcus Houston and Cierra. I took my daughter as a xmas present. Well I acted a right fool! My daughter said "Mom sit down, I said today Im not your mom, Im your girlfriend" I was jumping up and down doing Soulja Boy's Superman.... It was comical!!!! I had no voice... my daughter said mom, you were embarrasing but so much fun! hahahahahaha

Somehow I became organizer of our yearly annual Food Fest. Since I have taken it over I try to mix up the theme. Last year we did countries this year I called it our Barnyard Bash. It was country theme. People dragged there feet the whole time but it ended up being a success. What I don’t get is you have the option to bring a dish or donate money for me to buy hot food items are what ever we need. When I said donate money that was the first thing I did wrong. People were donating 5 bucks. Like for real?? 5 bucks isn’t enough its not fair someone bringing in a dish would spend way more than that but at the end of the day I did say donate. Lesson learned for next year. Specify a specific amount. It’s a lot to set up and then clean up. I’m so tired. Then I had a whiney guy who got on my nerves. Where I put the drinks I called it the Outhouse. I figured you pee in a Outhouse and what makes you pee? Liquid. So I decorated it with toilet paper, hand sanitizer air freshener stuff like that. He was like eww who wants to drink from an Outhouse blah blah blah. It took everything in me not to tell him well get the #$%^ from over there then. When I sit back and think yeah maybe it wasn’t the best name but hell no one else helped me pick out station names.
