What's wrong with your car Sus?

Nothing major - I think I might need brakes, and I needed an oil change, so I dropped it at my mechanic this am and took the train to work - I am getting a little worried that he hasn't called me yet, though, lol!

I am trying, I am fighting hard not to write her an email myself, not rude and disrespectful but for her to understand her behavior is very immature, and at the end of the day its her daughter that is being affected the most by her action.

I agree with you. Only good things will come of you being in her daughters life....sad to know that she does not realize that. What is so wrong with having one more person love and care for her child....its a blessing not a bad thing....tell her that.

I would ignore her to for now Portland...if down the road you need to file for her then I would. For me as a mother it would be hard for me to let my child that young be away from me. Well it would be hard at any age but when she gets older it might be easier for her to come and be with you guys. Hubby still needs to be there for the baby though. Hard situation to be in.

Does anyone know where I can find information on the best Labor and Delivery hospitals in JA?? :help:

If I were you, I would look for something private. I don't want to scare you; but I have heard some horror stories about birthing in JA. Maybe PM Tre, Kimmy, or JAE.

We were doing the K2 but she wasn't going to live with us permantly, her mother said no, and I can understand that. But we were going to get her 3 months out of the year, and see how that works for now and make any other decison later.

But hubby asked her over and over before she went back and forth changing her mind and before we the contacted the embassy he asked her again, and she was ok with what they worked out. That's what I can't deal with all this back and forth.

She called the other day and I answerd his phone she asked if she can speak to her child's father, I was like who is that? lol!

I would ignore her for now and continue to do everything for the child.

Sorry to here about the drama Portland;

My fiancé also has a child who is 6 years old. He has not been in a relationship with the mother since his son was 15 months. When we started dating and I started going down to JA I told him to stay involved with his son and not to hide me from anyone. Once we started K1 papers he did not want to tell her but I told him not to keep anything away from her cause when his son gets to the US I will be taking care of him. When I was in JA in June he spent time with us and I had my 3 girls there too. One day when we were in Kingston he stop by to see his son and I introduced myself to her and explained what was happening so we have an understanding. I'm a baby mama so I know how I would like to be dealt with so I'm going to deal with her that way. We are not friends but we understand each other.

You are a rational baby-mama, she is not, she refuse for meeting me, whenever we are in JA and have the baby I would stay in the car, cause I am not going walk up in her yard since she doesn't want to know me. So now, I am going to JA and instead of me dropping the things off for the baby and getting some picture I have to find a third party to go thru to do it for me.. She don't want me to have anything to do with her child which is crazy!

She's jealous and only thinking of herself. Some women are like that. They will use those kids as pawns without a care in the world and manage to somehow justify it to themselves.

Be who you are. I wouldn't change for her. Do what YOU think is right for the child.

Why baby-mama called hubby and chewed him a new one because he emailed her asking if I can pick up the baby 1 day when I am there this weekend and get some updated pictures...!!

She told him if he and his wife want pickney we need to have our own and leave her daughter alone.....

Hubby call and told me he was done unless she called back and apologized then he is leaving her and her daughter alone..

I feel caught in the middle, and I hope she is not stupid enough to keep his child away from him because he is married!!

that is so ridiculous Portland...and you have every right to be ticked off...

that sounds like one big bag a jealousy talking right there....

You would think she would be over him by now, and now she decided not to do the k2 anymore..! so we just wasted $200.00, cause we have it like that, its no biggie

Maybe you didn't. If there is a long time limit on it, maybe she will change her mind. Hang in there.

I don't think she will see it that way.... so you will only be upsetting yourself. She apparently is so closed to you that she won't even read it - even woman to woman. It's clear she is not accepting of your marriage - definitely the baby's loss.

Oh JG when you said "chi chi" that reminds me.... When Louis and I went out to the island to go to "reggae sunday" this summer... I was standing to him (real close I must say) and talking. This girl yells to him from about 6 feet away... "hey mon" in her best Jamaican accent... "You from Jamaica mon"... "yeah mon"... Oh she sounded like a drunk idiot... He said "no I am from st lucia" ... she says "WHERE???" "What are you a chi chi man".... Louis says "EXCUSE ME?" He only knew what it meant cause his roomate in SLU was Jamaican. Oh her face went blank and she said sorry and turned away...

I think she thought she was all cute talking in "patois".... she almost got her #### kicked! Whoooa!

Oh I can't stand these girls sometimes!
