ok, what is your opinion on gift/baby registries? my cousin just had a baby shower and was registered at like 5 places..i thought that was a lot....but i guess better to have more choices

if you were buying a gift for someone, would you rather have many places to chose from? would you buy it online or rather look at it in the store?

I wouldn't care how many. I'd go to the store if the store is close (within 1 mile), otherwise, order online!

I shop on line and I'm the worst at registries I never get what's on the list. My BFF just had a shower and she said only 3-4 people got stuff from her list. I think people just don’t have time they get what the want or gift cards are becoming popular.

I say just pick one or two places. Why waste your time?

Did you all hear that Toy's R Us had a computer glitch when they opened the stores before normal hours on Black Friday? Double charged some people. So, if you happen to have been there, better check your bank accounts.

my son is a hot mess right now too. him and hubby are doing good together...i'm speaking in general...with his attitude. i got a call from the principal yesterday that he was screaming at one of his teachers...and now he has to meet with the school psychologist 2xs a week. he was pissing me off so bad the other day bouncing balls all over the house and finally i got a butcher knife and popped every last one of them...he is lucky i didn't pop him too...

Oh Boy not more pickney problems, its obvious they can't deal with their emotions but when it overlaps from home to school etc that's when it causes so many issues. I hope speaking to the school psychologist helps, girl mine just look at him like :blink: UGHHHHH mi cyaa even imagine what happens when mi breed!

Yes traffic is going to be a hot mess! Maybe you could show him around downtown a bit and have some dinner and then head on home by that time the traffic going up 75 should be calm. Although, I can imagine you just want to get home and enjoy him being here!!!

I'm on the south side of town (Stockbridge) right now but planning to move back out to Cobb County area by February 2010!

I have a friend who has it in JA....She swears by it because her family here in the states can call a local US # and reach her without any International rates. It was registered here in Oregon so it is an Oregon number.

Thats all well and good and we all have those speeches I am Haitian and Jamaican I come from that same stock however realistically when you say GET OUT where are they going? If their Father is not in their lives or family members have had enough where do they go the STATE? @ 18 yes but until then you are legally responsible or do you band together and work through all your options for the sake of family.
