Ells yes my Dad was Bootleg as hell this was my real Dad (JA) not my Step Dad and girl remember the Little's he even gave me the Bootleg Little's house and family now mind you they were all African American. I am 100% sure the Little's were Caucasian :rofl: I have no idea where he got that stuff from I'm not even gonna get started on the freaking bootleg 10 speed bike with the ice cream truck bell on it UGHHHHH

As for the stalker now this is kind of a tricky situation because I am really close with his family in Trelawny and visit them all the time and once upon a time we were extremely close in a former life and if I didn't meet Damian it may have turned into something more ( and girl why did I just think about the good times ughhhh focus Philly LOL) but he calls the phone all the time and of course his # is programmed and he will ask for some random female when Damian answers and he is like #######. Now mind you the weekend we got married Hubby cussed him because he wouldn't stop calling when he found out we jumped the broom but he told him he would never give up on me and I would come back one day....Girl Drama .... tricky situation I know maybe I need to stay away from Trelawny LOL My Cousin says mi luv drama LOL

Oh one time he came all the way to Kingston and called me like meet be at the depot. I stayed my batty right inna mi yaad girlllllllll a mess!

These stalker guys have some serious cajones! Anyone heard of Zuzu? Some sort of mechanical hamster. Supposed to be one of the hot toys for Christmas. They are already sold out and going for some astronomical price now for an $8 toy! That's just crazy.

Zhu Zhu Pets..... That was on Tierra's List... but I told her not now. I am not real sure why they are so popular, maybe the price? But of course she wants the whole Hampster "habitat" with all the tubes etc... My apartment is not big enough for all that!

We just saw them on Amazon for $85. They are already sold out here.

Hey my hubby got a job at Amazon.com. Shipping and receiving. They just opened a new warehouse in Las Vegas this October. He gets discounts and everything.

They have some great stuff and will have the best Black Friday sale.

Thanksgiving we were going to my moms in California and staying til Saturday but due to the Black Friday Sales he has to work mandatory overtime. So we will leave Thursday morning and come back Friday morning. Its only a 4-5 hour drive with my foot and hope the dont stop us.

Is anyone going out of town for Thanksgiving.

I have to finish shopping today for Thankgiving. I got my free turkey last week I still had one in the freezer from earlier in the year so that will be for Kwanzaa. I have to get goat and coconut milk, corn for my cornbread and some more spices Ughh I though I was finished.

My Mother is so excited for Damian she wants this day to be so special for him, and she is worried I will ruin it because I am not speaking to the hellians, oops I mean my children! Puhlease I have been on this grueling diet since 11/9 I am dreaming about stuffing at this point LOL. I told her nuh worry arself I will be there @ 5:00 am with a bundle of African flicks ready to cook dem facety pickney ain't taking my one day of turkey and thanks away from me! Ok Rant over

Hey C; unless things changed from July last year, I didn't need a SS# when we got our marriage license. My husband wasn't even with me when I applied...I gave them his passport. He still didn't have his SS# when we got married which was a week after I got the marriage license...it's easy up on my side...link me if when u get a chance...i drap a sleep at 7:30 lastnight and didn't get a chance to call you...G will be here next week........it's party time

Did they make a special exception for you? I know the rules vary by state, but I thought both people have to be present to swear in & sign the papers.

Nope; he wasn't with me when I applied for the license...I had to be sworn to the information I provided in the documents and the IDs that I provided. The only time he signed was the day of the ceremony when we got the certificates all certified I asked for 3 of them.

Awwwwwww, sweetie. I know exactly what you mean. What I talked to you about...I always repeat the mantra "she is not going to ruin today"...um, not in such kind words though....it makes me feel better; but she manages to ruin them all pretty much.

That's nice it's not too far from you...at least within a 1/2 day's drive! Southern Cal is as bad as SF when it comes to housing prices! I bet there's no place else she'd rather be though, right? That's how I am with SF...both hubby & I love it here....we just may not be able to afford to live here forever.

When that trip happens, I'll definitely let you know. I didn't get to reply the other day to everyone but I liked seeing the pics of the Peppermill. I remember a very hungover morning there once! LOL! I'm not a gambler but it sure is fun doing everything else! My only unrealistic wish is that casinos would go smoke-free! YEAH RIGHT! I'm hoping we can get there after the spring semester is over....and if not, maybe we'll go around the same time my Aunt & Mom make their yearly pilgrimage together in the late summer.
