GOOD AFTERNOON LADIES! Let me start off by saying The Lord is GOOD!!!!! I emailed the embassy AGAIN (like 6 times) and requested December 14th instead of the 18th (for fear the visa wouldn't be ready because of the holidays and plane tickets were through the roof).. And I just got a reply stating they changed it to the 14th!!!!

Thank you GOD! Praying is the only way to go! Man, we are busy, busy, BUSY these days Yardies, aren't we?! Any way, I just wanted to share my joy and to thank you all again.. because we all know what it feels like to be alone- Well, not anymore!! Bless you All!

ells.. i LOOVVEEE jim carey.. and when i saw the preview for xmas carol. i was so geeked, i can't wait to take the kids..

You all will love it! The animation is incredible....it's getting so realistic at times you almost forget it's animated! The effects were awesome & with the 3D, you really felt like you were zooming along with the characters!

Uh oh I'm in trouble, the last one we never planned it we just did it. Our Pastor told us to come over for counseling and prayer and he married us the next day. LOL but you are right this is supposed to make up for the rush of the last ceremony and I do want it to be special!

Hey ladies blessing to all that is interviewing this week...

Time has changed so much it is literally a shark tank when it comes to job searching in NYC either it's a whole bunch of fluff or they are requesting a BA to be a receptionist, I will be dammed if I do years of college to be a receptionist! This whole process has been so annoying. I interviewed with this job on Nov.9th it went really well but a week later I did not hear from them so I thought hey maybe they went with another candidate a day later they called me back and asked for a writing sample which I sent them. Now another week passed and I still have not heard nothing it’s been like 3 weeks since the interview I sent a follow up letter last week and got no response. I am so confused I know the person who is leaving the company is not leaving until the end of the month but I mean at least give a response I think that is so rude... anyways I felt like the job was mines when I interviewed and I’m trying to stay positive and think well it is very easy for them just to respond back and say they gave the position to another candidate so maybe I’m still in the run idk but I am getting so discouraged... **okay rant ova**

dara...i am soo proud that your mom made that step.. i know it was hard for her..

It was hard for her Q I had to go over her house on Friday to give her reassurance. But come Sat when the movers came to get her things she was ready to go. I’m so proud of her she just don’t know. I know it will be hard in the beginning but I’m sure in time she’ll be o.k. at least I pray so.

Good luck to you Newly! Hope that job is yours. Try not to get discouraged yet. With how short-staffed people are these days, writing correspondence to interviewees is probably one of the tasks at the bottom of the list. It is rude but that's the way it goes these days. I know at the snail's pace state work goes by (I work for the state) that it takes a little time for decisions to be made. Heck, we interviewed for electricians in January & JUST hired one at the beginning of this month!

I LOVED the Barbie Vette I had....those were the two cool Barbie things I had....every time I got allowance, I was at the toy store looking for the next doll I wanted.

Can you believe that Hancock the Dagger master was trying to dagger the kitten???? :blink: Foxy Brown his girlfriend is so mad at him she is not speaking to him and is trying to turn the kitten against him. She is keeping Storm ( Hubby said he is not calling her Fudge-ums) away from him at all costs LOL They were hauled up in the banana plant this morning hiding in the living room when I left. Damian said he is filing charges against Hancock since she is a pickney :rofl: Mrs. Bootsy said he is a RAPER and she has had to separate him before from the other kittens. So he has a record hot mess UGHHHH the cat drama........

No he has known for a while. Momma been said she was moving but she is just now getting around to it but you know men he walks round like he’s happy and he has been looking at furniture. To be honest it never really hit me until I seen the empty house. I’m just wondering if he’ll do the same thing like damn she is really gone. You know you never missed a good thing until its gone.

I know the feeling Newly- I gave my work 2 weeks notice to go work for another hospital which was offering better pay, more hours.. After i finished my 2 weeks at my current job, the new place tells me they have a hiring freeze! WTH! And my old job was not too happy with me because I hadn't been there that long so they refused to hire me back... And Tina was left UNEMPLOYED FOR 6 MONTHS! It's really bad in RI too- our state's at it's highest in unemployment HISTORY... Try not to get too discouraged.. just keep looking out.. It's bad everywhere I think
