Didn’t care for her outfit too much but I did feel her in the song. You see she did get a standing ovation. I have listened to that song on her CD. It makes me think of my mom all the time. After being married to my dad she has moved out and got her own place after 36 years of marriage. She thought she couldn’t do it but she did and I think of her when I listen to that song. I told her this weekend I was so proud of her I love her new place. It did feel funny going back to my childhood home and seeing all the furniture gone. Momma was no joke she took everything!! My dad is in Kansas City so when he returns I wonder how he’ll feel seeing everything gone. Will it mek him resent some of his decisions he made or will he be o.k. with it? I guess when he returns tomorrow I’ll know.

I didn't mean any harm, but she just doesn't perform the way she used to. Im pretty sure the song sounds good on the cd, but I didn't care for it live. I like the old whitney... she could make hearts melt then. This "new" whitney singing live - just aint cutting it for me....

what is the CSC timeline looking like.. should you have an approval sometime soon compared to other cases that are transferred?

10/26/2009 receive interview letter for NOV 30th 11:30!!!! PRAISE GOD!

11/06/2009 receive advance parole papers.. no email, no updates beforehand..

11/16/2009 After 2 WEEKS of checking the mail thinking the EAD and AP come about the same time, we get the "card production ordered" email for the EAD.. better late than never.. thank you LORD!!!

11/19/2009 receive another email stating "card production ordered"

11/23/2009 receive EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/30/2009 bittersweet interview, but WE ARE APPROVED

12/02/09 social security card in mail

12/04/09 receive "welcome" letter in mail

Afternoon Yardies!

I don't feel like doing much during this short work week. I wonder how many places actually have productive employees on holiday weeks?

BTW, I HIGHLY recommend A Christmas Carol (Jim Carrey one out now) in 3D (IMAX if you have one)! It was EXCELLENT!

What's up, yardies!!! Just checking in before I leave for Kingston tomorrow. I ask that you send your prayers up for RegAl on Monday, Myself and MamaJew on Tuesday. HaysM, Jo & Danny and Heart in Jamaica on Wed. I also wanted to send postive vibes for all the other upcoming interviews and any others that I have missed. Ivan and I can't wait to link up with Mamajew and RegAl. Hope you all are having great weekend. I'm bringing my laptop so I will keep you guys updated.

Evening Yardies, Sorry I havent been on here much but I hope everyone is doing great. Congrats to all those with good news that I missed. I have some great news too I found out that I am gaving a GIRL!!!. I am so happy, my daughter will have a sister. I have been real tired and been working and sleeping mostly, along with taking care of my 4 year old and my hubby. I feel great though the baby is getting big and moving constantly, even the sonographer said she is a very active baby. I miss you guys and will try to keep in touch.

Has anyone heard from jakeswife about the twins? I think she was due this month.

Im starting to come to the realization that my wedding is a month and a few days away :blink: Im so glad to have a supportive family. My step mother and father are taking care of our wedding attire. My step mother already has purchased the dress of my choice so now I have to go try it on tomorrow. She also purchased my daughter and sister their dresses. They are just guests but she wanted to do something nice for them. My father will be taking Steve and my son, to purchase their suits tomorrow. Steve insists my son be his best man and so it shall be! My father also insisted he book a weekend at the Poconos for us so he booked it for New Years weekend 1/01 to 1/03, which I told him he didn't need to do. Im SO blessed and happy to have so much support. Now I just need to find shoes :wacko:
