Music to my ears Dillon! As you wish

Anything is better then that guy.

Philly...I don't get you...you are a fashionista...you got it going on but when you come to music I can't call you a musicista!

You get an A+ for that one

I am DWL I really like all music my family says I give everyone a chance even if they are a hot mess. As a teenager I was listening to Rap, Pop R&B and Rock and roll artists like Whitesnake, U2 and Pink Floyd. I don't know blame it on the moon when I was born haaaa but I do have an eclectic taste.

Dark Side of the Moon is on my top ten albums of all time.

Love is a gift and not to be earned, therefore one should never hold any regrets for giving love regardless of the outcome...

Yup, finesse - Ikea has great baby stuff, under $200

66857_PE180288_S3.jpg

I was just looking at that. Did you see it goes into a bed and even extends to a longer bed! I love that. Finesse if you are just a little artistic you could paint the babies names on the beds or add a special touch to them. I love it.

Ok I am having baby envy! :)

Have sexy party TONIGHT!!

We wanted to get IKEA stuff but it is made poorly and wobbly. My dad and mom wouldn't let us. Just be careful with IKEA my bro bought some things for his first child and they broke after a couple years because they are not kid proof.

Wow! Mine lasted 3 moves and many years! I even passed it on to a friend that needed it.

That is awesome Irie. We bought a gently used one at a used store for 100 dollars it was made out of really wood. I am not saying this crib particular but his children's furniture broke. I have a wonderful bookcase from there that we have had forever.

JQ awesome news!

Interracial couple denied marriage license in La

HAMMOND, La. (AP) - A Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have.

Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.

Neither Bardwell nor the couple immediately returned phone calls from The Associated Press. But Bardwell told the Daily Star of Hammond that he was not a racist.

"I do ceremonies for black couples right here in my house," Bardwell said. "My main concern is for the children."

Bardwell said he has discussed the topic with blacks and whites, along with witnessing some interracial marriages. He came to the conclusion that most of black society does not readily accept offspring of such relationships, and neither does white society, he said.

"I don't do interracial marriages because I don't want to put children in a situation they didn't bring on themselves," Bardwell said. "In my heart, I feel the children will later suffer."

If he does an interracial marriage for one couple, he must do the same for all, he said.

"I try to treat everyone equally," he said.

Thirty-year-old Beth Humphrey and 32-year-old Terence McKay, both of Hammond, say they will consult the U.S. Justice Department about filing a discrimination complaint.

Humphrey told the newspaper she called Bardwell on Oct. 6 to inquire about getting a marriage license signed. She says Bardwell's wife told her that Bardwell will not sign marriage licenses for interracial couples.

"It is really astonishing and disappointing to see this come up in 2009," said American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana attorney Katie Schwartzman. "The Supreme Court ruled as far back as 1963 that the government cannot tell people who they can and cannot marry."

The ACLU was preparing a letter for the Louisiana Supreme Court, which oversees the state justices of the peace, asking them to investigate Bardwell and see if they can remove him from office, Schwartzman said.

"He knew he was breaking the law, but continued to do it," Schwartzman said.

According to the clerk of court's office, application for a marriage license must be made three days before the ceremony because there is a 72-hour waiting period. The applicants are asked if they have previously been married. If so, they must show how the marriage ended, such as divorce.

Other than that, all they need is a birth certificate and Social Security card.

The license fee is $35, and the license must be signed by a Louisiana minister, justice of the peace or judge. The original is returned to the clerk's office.

OMG get out for real. This is so crazy and so not right.

Just got home from school.....and need to ask for a few prayers for my hubby's mother.... Looks as though she had a stroke. He got a call this morning saying that she was in the hospital so he got his things together and took the journey from Hopewell back home to Port Antonio. We don't know much more of the details as when he arrived at the hospital there were no doctors on duty.... She seems to have some paralysis but is alert and attempting to speak. I don't know how medical situations such as this are handled there in JA long term so if anyone has any knowledge...please share.
