roger was gonna do his specialty of curry chicken.. he RARELY jerks anything.. i can make some jerk shrimp :whistle:

trelawny? jerk turkey nuh sound good?? or u just don't like turkey period?

we going to my auntie house for t-day.....we bringing pumpkin soup and rice and peas....

lol.. roger wanted to buy a pumpkin to make soup the other day.. mi nuh tink mi boddah wid dat..

girl.. i have rolled off w/out food at least twice .. aging ain't no joke.. on TWO separate occasions i called a camera a FAN and a MICROWAVE while talking.. :blink: mi mout nuh catch up wid me mind or sumthing..

one of our nearby restaurants is jerking turkey for thanksgiving.. i wonder should i order one?? im sure it tasts just the same as chicken right??

YES YOU SHOULD order one! I had jerk turkey last year and it is the best turkey I have had in my LIFE!

11/16/2009 After 2 WEEKS of checking the mail thinking the EAD and AP come about the same time, we get the "card production ordered" email for the EAD.. better late than never.. thank you LORD!!!

11/19/2009 receive another email stating "card production ordered"

11/23/2009 receive EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/30/2009 bittersweet interview, but WE ARE APPROVED

12/02/09 social security card in mail

12/04/09 receive "welcome" letter in mail

if my hubby eva cook a turkey gi u, u wi lick u finga and toe dem! :yes:

mi no care di turkey coudah mek mi head spin backwards mi naw nyam eeh, but I'll suck a brownstew chicken foot until it turn white

I can't even stand the smell of turkey meat the first time I tried turkey was in 1979 and it was done Jamaican style chop up and jerked and it was cook yankee style...ewwwwwwww to BOTH!

girl i learned in elementary school.. the bathrooms were a wretched MESS.. if mi nuh hold mi breath, mi have accident pon miself heveryday!

why are the pumpkins from the jamaican or puerto rican store different form the ones at the regular supermarket?

the jamaican ones are nice and flavorful and tender...and the other ones are stringy and wierd

anybody knoa?

the jamaican ones are lighter in color and are ususally sold in sections (not the whole pumpkin)....they are so tender, you could eat the skin

not sure the difference, but trust me, there is a BIG one...

okay cool.. yep thats what he picked up at fiesta.. it was a piece of pumpkin all plastic wrapped up.
