So My2 and Hays- got interviews coming up- I'm excited for you both! Good luck- I'm praying for y'all! Ladies, yuh men soon come!

I'm still waiting for a damn interview date- after emailing, faxing, mailing, and fed-exing them, I've just about had it! But not about to give up! I'm sending them yet another email on Wednesday.. Please pray for me..

I will pray for u Spanglas.....ur honey soon come....I felt the same way u are its normal.....we've all been there......I can't wait for the interview.....9days to go!

This is what I got out of him so far.

He went through security and then he went to a lady who checked his paper work. She only took my Info and the DS156,156k, 157, No Imped and Police Cert. He went and got his fingerprints then sat down until they called his name.

Questions:

1) Were you ever married before?

2) Where did you meet your fiancé?

3) Have you ever met any of her family?

4) How many times have I been to JA?

5) How did we communicate?

About how much does vaccinations cost in Jamaica???

It all depends on how much shots the person needs. My fiance need 3 shots so his total Medical was a little over $16,000. But they can go to a local clinic and get their shots there and it will be cheaper.

Instead of going to the main courthouse in your city to get it, go to an annex! We were in & out in less than 15 minutes.

You big city folks crack me up...Annex is not an option in these parts. It's either downtown or bust! :rofl:

Nat/mstee -- your your husband will learn on his own. It took my husband 3 months to figure out that yankee food puts wayyyyyy more weight on you that food back home. Just tell them what you have to say and leave them alone...my husband will tell you about his fight with donuts "cripsy creame" he ate so much much it made him faint then he got sick. He won't go near a dounut, sugar role or anything like that since. That was last year. With the veggies he can't eat his food without it...he only eats chicken or fish and he has to have veggies either mixed in with it or with the rice and Steven is not the only one that calls salad goat food.

Sunny got my husband loving green salads, so we eat that 3 times a week. My husband gained 20lbs the first month he was here and when he started to get a belly he said..."no man di no mek eeh" -- so he started running then pushing weight since. When it's nice outside we go for walks after dinner.

mi husband a gain 30....

Whats funny is Michael says he has gained since we got married...and he is still in JA!!! He moved in with some friends of mine and he doesn't have to worry about food any longer....so, we already have the talk about him getting "fat"...I tease him and he says...NO, mi just fluffy :lol: :lol:

08-10-2010: 2nd RFE for an updated police record-although the one we have was dated 4 months ago......ughhhhhhh

Gooooood Morning Ladies! Hope you all are having a nice Tuesday morning.

Did anyone see the meteor shower last night. Tierra and I saw a couple "shooting stars". There was no way we were getting up at 2am to go outside and look for more. That was when the peak was supposed to be.

But I just saw on the news between 5-9pm (EST) there will be a good chance to see more. Yay! I think it is so cool and the skies are so clear and starry here right now.

Best thing about winter are the clear night skies and beautiful sunsets. We had some BRIGHT orange and pink skies last week.

So what's new today? :)

No meteor shower in Philly :crying: that sounds beautiful!

Nothing new today, the usual morning madness! Dropping off both kids to school on opposite sides of the city and Hubby to work as well then coming across the bridge to NJ to work by 8:30 ( which never happens ) LOL. I so can't wait for Friday to come :yes: I'm also looking forward to Thanksgiving because I can eat some turkey and food. I have been eating only veggies and fruits for a minute, even cut out the fish.......
