I have an interview at the saem place my husband works on Monday!! I want this job SO SO SO badly!! It's a $15,000 pay rise and the benefits are AMAZING!! Three weeks vacation a year to start etc etc.....Another thing is that he works 4-11 and if I got a shift 7-3, we wouldnt need childcare EVER!!!

Hey Yardies, well today is our medical and Ryon had a early start.....will post how it went tonight! Now the countdown begins and im excited woohoo!!!!

Oh dills for thanksgiving my family does an American/Jamaican dinner some of everything kinda like Corliss list with a lil more because there is always alot of family over(we take turns at the houses) but this year I will be in Jamaica so no food for me!!!

Thanksgiving Im taking hubby to his first U.S.Thanksgiving to Los Angeles where I was born to meet all my fam. Only 4 hrs from Vegas.

Good morning Yardies! I've got desk work to get done this am, so looks like I get to catch up on VJ?! How's everyone? What's new? We are currently experiencing potential flooding rains today through Friday...and it's only supposed to get worse as the day passes ...Winds are supposed to increase up to like 20-40 mph later this evening into tomorrow...this is NOT gonna be a fun day at all!

As it is, I only see my husband on weekends now...He gets home at 12am and I'm sleeping, I leave at 6.30am when he's in bed.....

Last year I had the best turkey of my LIFE! They jerked it and I think I was licking my fingers for weeks afterwards.

dillon.. i want roger and i are gonna try and do a jamaican thanksgiving since my girls will be w/ their dad for xmas.. (i guess)

oh and for any of the oldies.. child support court was yesterday.. got my money.. lost sole custody, even w/ all the evidence the judge overturned the prior judge decision and made us have joint custody and basically told me i can appeal it if i don't like it..

i told him how irrational the ex is and he doesn't make decisions based on the childrens well being, but trying to hurt me. i told him my ex hubby tried to run me off the road while my kids were in the car and he said "did u go off the road"

among other things that i won't mention cuz its too badmind and im trying to be positive and not think about how that judge made me feel yesterday.. i just hope i don't have to go back to court cuz knowing my ex.. he is not too happy bout the outcome of how much he have to pay..

Well if he appeals the money I hope you appeal the custody ruling.. I'm still in shock he overturned it....

Well, I am not shocked. I've been doing a lot of research on custody lately. In Missouri (and a lot of other states) sole legal custody (not to be confused with sole physical custody) is only granted when a very specific reasoning can be applied. For instance, drug abuse, alcoholism, physical abuse, neglect, etc. Otherwise, they really want parents to attempt joint legal custody and make joint decisions based on the child's best interest. While it's not always ideal, I see why they would want the child's parents to work together for what's best for the child.

It even warns in Missouri not to apply for sole legal custody if you are doing it to be vindictive. I had to laugh at that. Know someone who is doing just that.
