“Other” makes me feel so unimportant. Oh I see how it is now that Mr. Steve is here you don’t love me no more!!!!

By the way I love the pics you too look so happy. Oh and damn that bed was big as heck!!! Was it comfy when you did sleep in it?

DADA I wubs you!!!! did not mean to make you feel unimportant...Thank you very much for the compliment, girl that bed was comfortable as all heck! We slept so good. We ate a nice breakfast too the next day.

Funny thing about us is we both never really got excited up until now.. It feels good. My kids love their "new and improved"mom cause they said I was snappin! lol

Nothing like a good relax, relate and RELEASE!!!

How do some women work a full time job, fix dinner, manage the house, take care of children, have time for their husbands, and STILL have time for themselves???

I think 2 of these 6 is PLENTY.

-----

According to a lot of these Christian-based books/audio on marriages, women are not primarily DESIGNED to work full time jobs & don't get the same satisfaction men do from working. Husbands should understand that if their wives are putting energy into work, they won't have as much energy to do all the things they were actually designed to do.

Do you agree or disagree?

(Not that Friday afternoon is the best time to start a discussion.)

I agree and then they wonder why we tell them were too tired to have whoopee. Well most of us besides Finese and JQ…

I don’t think I was meant to be in the work field. If anything I should be at home running my own business but by the time I leave here I am pooped. Just yesterday I went home and had everything out to make dinner. I ended up having second thoughts so I put the stuff away and made my kids grilled cheeses instead. I normally try to cook Sun-Thurs but yesterday I just wasn’t in the mood. My house is a mess and I so need to do a load of laundry or 2 or 3 or 10 or 12 but I tell myself I can do it on the weekend. The weekend comes and by the time I’m done running around with the kids and their extra curricular activities or I try to take some time out for myself well hell its Sunday night time to get ready for bed. There is just not enough time in the day.

Reason 405 why I loved going to Jamaica. When I’m there none of the above matters because I get to leave it all behind in the states….… Haaaaaaaaaaaa

DaDa, I feel you. I can't even imagine having multiple children involved in extracurriculars.

From reading what you typed, & thinking about the subject, my appreciation for my mother just went up many levels.

I ask myself that all the time! And I work at home... so down time I clean, do laundry etc.

But I can tell you I do not get enough time for myself.

All my enegry goes into the home, Tierra and Louis.. and that doesnt even seem good enough to me.

I have been doing it for so long I am accustom to it. I do things sometimes on the weekends and my husbands is like oowan sit Thats what these kids are for to let you have a break on the weekends, and he ends up doing everything for them also. he loves to clean. Im not that tidy. I never use to have time for my self till I got with my husband. He made me take 1 hour at least when I get home not to talk to anyone, not even him. And relax from the 8-10 hour day.

Any woman that works 40 hrs and goes home and puts in 40+ hours is strong. I get it from my mother. She is very independent and has been all my life.

I think I over due the extra stuff with my kids. My mom never did any of that with me. Yeah she did all the other things like cooking cleaning family vacations etc but when it came to extra activities she either said no or frowned upon them so bad she talked us out of doing it all because it would be too much on her. Even now with my kids involved, I hate how she doesn’t come and support them as if she has something better else to do. I bet if the kids were performing at a casino she would be there.

Nat;

My aunt is in a LDR (married) I think it's 25 years now; raised 5 kids here in states/put them through college -- husband still in Jamaica, had her own business and finished her college education...I asked her how she managed and she told me she had to make and TAKE time for herself...

I want to sleep but I have about a few of my cousins comming in from Jamaica tonight plane should land in a few minitues...I can't wait to sink my teeth in the goodies.
