Does anyone know about filing an I-130 for children? I'm trying to get an idea of the timeline for filing an I-130. I want to file for my stepchildren and it's my understanding that the I-130 process is about six months. What happens after the I-130 is approved? Does the process then go to NVC for a visa?

I'm thinking back to when I filed the I-129 for my husband. I know that after the approved petition went to NVC, he had to go through the visa process at the Kingston embassy, which took a long time. Is that the same process that the children will go through, including the packets received from the embassy and the DS form?

The reason for asking is that I'm trying to time the children's arrival for summer, between school years if I can. Can anyone tell me about the process after I-130? Thanks.

LOL thanks Buz, yes we were in Jamaica at the Hibiscus Lodge in Ochi. The bridesmaid on the left is my sista she is a mess, and makes any party fun.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on the pics, I was not comfortable at the time or now with my wieght.

To each its own on what your comfortable at but Ima start my diet b4 hubby try to breeeeeeeed me.

He has been having that look in his eyes so Im getting prepared and I wanna to be comfortable pregnant. LOLOLOL

Just wanted to let yall know hubby and I are the newest home owners on the block!!!!

I was so tired after the long day I had yesterday that after we closed I just wanted to go home and curled up in bed... but no hubby was too excited we went to our apt thru whatever he can fit in the car and drove to the new house, so we slept their on the floor last night!!! so tired!
