Sounds like a fun weekend, JG - what kind of dog?

Friday we went to see my friends play - Islandwoman came down, so she had her 1st Anthem experience - Sat night we went to a party and drank way more than we should have, but had a fun crazy night! Sunday we went to the diner, then I took her to the international market - Headed home and attempted to do homework, but didn't make much progress cause my brain was still suffering from the alcohol, lol

Once upon a time lived a beautiful Queen with large breasts. Nick the

Dragon Slayer obsessed over the Queen for this reason. He knew that the

penalty for his desire would be death should he try to touch them, but he had to try.

One day Nick revealed his secret desire to his colleague, Desmond the Jamaican Physician -

the King's chief doctor. Desmond thought about this

and said “ I mon will arrange for yu, mi fren Nick, to more dan satisfy yuh desire,

but it gwine cost yu $1000. Without pause Nick readily agreed to the scheme.

The next day, Desmond made a batch of itching powder and poured a little

bit into the Queen's bra while she bathed. Soon after she dressed, the

itching commenced and grew intense. Upon being summoned to the Royal

Chambers to address this incident, Desmond informed the King and Queen

that only a special saliva, if applied for four hours, would cure this

type of itch, and that tests had shown that only the saliva of Nick would

work as the antidote to cure the itch.

The King, eager to help his Queen, quickly summoned Nick to their

chambers. Desmond then slipped Nick the antidote for the itching powder,

which he put into his mouth, and for the next four hours, Nick worked

passionately on the Queen's large and magnificent breasts. The Queen's

itching was eventually relieved, and Nick left satisfied and hailed as a

hero. Upon returning to his chamber, Nick found Desmond demanding his

payment of $1,000. With his obsession now satisfied, Nick

couldn't have cared less and, knowing that Desmond could never report this

matter to the King, and with a laugh told him to get lost.

The next day, Desmond slipped a massive dose of the same itching powder

into the King's underwear. The King immediately summoned Nick.

The moral of the story....... .....

Don’t mess with a Jamaican.

She is a 2 year old beagle/pitt mix. I'm going to call her Maddie to go with my Patrick Swayze movie names theme.

Did Island like the purse?

Anyone here used a crate for their dog? I am having some issues here. I know that they are great for potty training and when you are away from the house. But, this poor dog has been locked in a cage for the last 4 months. I am loathe to do it to her anymore. Humane Society recommends it.

Thinking of getting baby gates/closing doors and confining her to my kitchen and dining room which are both tile floors and open and sunny.

Give me some opinions here.

We had a fun weekend, too.

Friday - Good Hair

Saturday - Pre-Marital workshop. Later, free burrito @ Chipotle's since we wore foil

Sunday - Comedy Club

Today, Steven had his first ever dentist appointment. The dentist couldn't believe how healthy his teeth were considering he'd never been to a dentist before. I guess it's from the small amount of sugar people typically eat in Jamaica, compared to America.

I'd say it's good luck, Nat.

Explain the foil comment please.

What exactly are they doing/asking at this workshop. You said it was brutal. Why you say that?

Yup, she bought the purse -

My sister has a crate with their dog - she has no issues with it, and in fact will go in it when she wants a nap -

I know lots of people who use them, Sus. It's just I am having a hard time imagining her in there after she has spent the last 4 months in that little humane society cell! You know?

i have potty/crate trained 3 dogs in my life and all have worked out great. i think that there is no other effective way to potty train a dog. Most dogs end up liking the crate because it is a safe place...kind of like their den. never use it for punishment.

my current dog who i have had for 5 years (and got him when he was 3 months) used the crate for about a year and a half...once he was potty trained and when i could trust that he wouldn't chew up shyt i let him have free range of the house..

trust me, you will be sorry if you don't crate him/her...

I know, I used to think the same, till I have seen the dogs who used the crates - and also have had the same experience of adopting and thinking I would leave her in the kitchen with baby gates - only to come home and have had her jump over them and be sprawled on the couch!
