Hi Ladies. Two questions. 1. Has anyone had the H1N1 flu shot and what are the side effects you have experienced and 2. does anyone have the G1 phone from Tmobile and how do you like it so far?

I got the swine flu shot and the regular flu shot....but only cuz i'm preggo. i didn't feel any way afterwards...except a sore arm. wait a minute, is that why i've been eating like a pig? :lol:

I got the H1N1 shot and had nausea and loss of appetite for a week and so did this other coworker, but I wanted to be sure it was not just a coincidence so I am doing my own data collection for my research purposes.

Do you ever get to the point where you are so stressed you feel as though you are about to have a BREAK down :crying: ? If so what do you to relieve the stress?

Take a break from the moment and do something for you. Go for a walk, go to a movie alone, go dancing, anything to change the pace and take a breather. Listen to your Spirit and Body...I see too many people weekly on my psych unit who did not listen to their body and end up here due to a nervous breakdown. PM me please if you need to talk or vent.

Nat I say write your own :thumbs: I don't even remember half of the vows because in JA the vows are so long it was like reading a book :blink: all i remember is "in sickness and in health for richer for poorer forsaken all others" :unsure: and instead of "I Do" it was "I Will" :blink:

LOL - you should have had Jamerican's pastor - quick, simple, and to the point - With the exception of asking if they had any illegal acts that they needed to confess prior to saying their vows, he was perfect!

I was too focused on the pronunciation of the words....or emphasis on certain words :whistle: ... he really stressed the CONFESS....I wanted to laugh but thought it might be seen as inappropriate..... :blink:

Evening Yardies!

Good evening yardies i am so sick of waiting :angry: my dad submitted an I-129F on 09/14/09 and he got APPROVED (NOA2) 10/21/09 WTH?? so he has advised me to try the K3 I-129F..i have been thinking about it for a while but never did it but i will be sending it off tomorrow wish me luck :unsure:

Good luck Sheka! I hope one of these avenues produces results quick!

Do you ever get to the point where you are so stressed you feel as though you are about to have a BREAK down :crying: ? If so what do you to relieve the stress?

Yes DaDa! I've been feeling that way lately too....seems a lot of us are. It's so strange...things could definitely be FAR worse but they just seem overwhelming right now. I do like the others have mentioned...have a good cry (or more) & drink more often! :whistle:

For vows, since my Aunt married us, she asked to e-mail her how we felt about one another without telling each other what we wrote. I could never have said my vows so she read them to us at the ceremony. Man, I bawled the whole time! :)

She turned them into our vows. It was so nice.

:luv::luv:

Dada... I SURE DO!! I feel overwhelmed alot of the time. I cry - I cry alot, it makes me feel better. If you feel like crying just do it.

I like to spend time with my best friend too. She helps out alot, we go out, have some drinks, dance... relieve some stress.

Try to take it one day at a time, when I look to far ahead at the big picture... it freaks me out.

Me too my gyal! ME TOO! At least we're all not alone in feeling this way. :yes:

No Nat, its okay because you actually helped me to see the benefit of doing it in 2009. Im a pretty rational person and you gave me rational "sound" advice. I will get over it being in December, the point is, its not the ceremony that makes us, its the marriage! The wedding salon I am allowed 24 guests, which is mostly my immediate family and a few friends, a couple of VJ people. My friends said they want to be there to make sure I go through with it :rofl: When I talked with my fiance he was estatic about the date so if it makes him happy, it makes me happy!!! after today we have 3 days until his arrival.. I can't wait.

I am meeting up with one of the VJ'ers tomorrow so it should be a nice time together. Fish fry tonight and Football on Sunday! So this weekend should be wonderful.

Thank you guys (L)

Well, you can still make it really nice & it will be a stressful month but it will all be over soon enough. These K-1 visas are a real whirlwind! Most people have a year or more to plan weddings but those of us on this track have to do it all in an extremely short time period. Don't worry though, it'll be great no matter. You can do a really beautiful winter themed wedding (reception) with darker colors & warm fuzzy-type stuff!

I don't wish stress or overwhelming times on anyone... but its also a little comforting to know I am not the only one on the verge!

We will all get through it!!

:yes::yes: (((((VJ Yardie sisters)))))
