Good advice ladies...I need to take it becaue I have been feeling really overwhelmed. I know it is going to get better but right now with moving, work, kids, school, doctors....I need a break. Doesn't help that it has been raining for days and the grey weather is making me feel blahhh too.

The weather can affect my general mood, too. Isn't that strange?

Not at all - did you ever read anything on SAD? I swear I have it sometimes -

My friend has SAD, she has this lamp that she is supposed to sit in front of for at least 1/2 hour a day. I love it... I want one.

It almost feels like sitting in the sun when it shines through the window.

Morning, All

Yesterday my supervisor IM'd me to say that he heard we're getting tons of rain, so work from home if conditions are bad. So I brought my laptop home & mentally prepared to be here all day.

But I woke up to find ZERO weather-related reason to stay at home. Do I go in? Or work from home anyway?

to Heaven,Nat and Mstee no matter what you choose for your wedding just know that its the vows that matter not the setting or the guests

I agree! We're actually getting married a few days before the reception. Your post reminds me about the vows... Trying to decide if we'll go with the default or write personal ones.

Nat I say write your own  I don't even remember half of the vows because in JA the vows are so long it was like reading a book  all i remember is "in sickness and in health for richer for poorer forsaken all others" and instead of "I Do" it was "I Will"

LOL - you should have had Jamerican's pastor - quick, simple, and to the point - With the exception of asking if they had any illegal acts that they needed to confess prior to saying their vows, he was perfect!

Sus he was 89 years old and looked like he was 50  he was very much rooted in the Jamaican tradition the vows he made us take was probably a whole page from the bible and on top of that we had to do a marriage counseling session with him prior to the wedding (he had to approve us getting married  ) my hubby and i chose him because he had been a pastor for over 45 years in Jamaica

MsSheka, I am confused - or maybe you misunderstood my post - I meant Jamerican, the member here - the pastor who married them - Cause he was no where near 89! I was at her wedding last March in Ochi -
