Hi yardies..Just passing thru so say THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT..THOUGHT..AND PRAYERS !!

Congrats on the interview day haymsmorgan !!

Hi Heaven; CONGRATS I'll echo what Island said...make sure he gets all of his documents...they're things at POE and for AOS that he will need from the medical documents. I just pray that all the info is in the brown envelope since he can't be opened until he gets here. did they tell you when the medical will get sent to the embassy or does he have to go back and pick it up?

Thanks Tre !! i will def let him know..i hope everything is in order as well..he keeps harassing the people at the hospital ever since last week about this medical..when we went yesterday after the interview it still was'nt ready i think they said when it's ready they will send it to the embassy ..but i told him he would need a copt for himself so he's still gonna call them and see when he can pick it up or whatever...

Thank You island..i was thinking about that..and thats probally whats gonna end up happening..i'm ot too sure ..but i rather be in the situation that having not been approved !!

Exactly! I'm sure everything will work out fine, just have him keep working on getting the medical. Even if he can sneak through and the embassy issues the visa without the results, you still need it at the AOS stage.

Yes ! i understand ..i told him that he's gonna need it regardless so he's still gonna keep calling and find out when he can come get it !

Heaven...the Embassy will give him a sealed envelope when he gets his passport and the medical will be in there. The hospital will not give him the results to bring with him. So most likely the hospital will send the results to the embassy when they are done and then the embassy will give them to your SO with the passport/visa.

Good Morning....

Well she kind of has to be nice because they are at their mercy now. The last thing you want is something inaccurte popping up on there so I guess the saying Kill them with Kindness or tears might work out best.

I get what your saying, but what is funny to me is that these government agencies had no problem cashing the dang blang check for 455.00 or the visa fee 131.00, or whatever the cost of the medical is, so why shouldn't you get your monies worth? You are paying for a service and if your service is not done right aren't you going to get to the bottom it? The USCIS, the embassy, NVC are no different. You don't have to be nasty but in my opinion persistance pays off. How do you know if something is going to show up on the medical? You don't unless you know that your fiance is a user or something like that...

THANKS TO ALL THE YARDIES FOR YOUR PRAYER'S AND POSTIVE VIBES !!!

we went without the medical...we only just showed the receipt and the vaccination paper they gave him and he told them that the hospital said it's not ready so she was like OK ! ..they approved him without the medical..becuz after the interview we went to the hospital to find out whats what and it was still not ready...so the lady in the medical office was like they should have given him a blue slip to come back but they didnt...they just approved him! i didn't understand how or why all i could say is THANK YOU JESUS ! i'll post the full details in the review section..

Congrats Heaven!!!

Now I'm going to be the voice of reason.....sometimes one person at the embassy will do something (like approve without the medical even though the medical is an extremely important part of the process) but someone else down the line will catch up on it and it can hold up your visa until they get your completed medical. Hope for the best, but be prepared.

Truth there. But, great news, nonetheless.

Work on rushing them to get that medical. He can't go anywhere without it.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
