LOL it might be funny...... but yeah this is how I feel! Good and bad.

You read about the good feelings on the other thread..... but this one is about the bad ones. I want him to be a part of my pregnancy and if I'm pregnant right now that is not gonna happen..... It sucks!

I had plans.... we had plans... we talked about what it was gonna be like when we decided to have kids and it was perfect! We were so careful about everything.....

I want to have a baby. I want it very much! But I want it to be right..... when we're together and at least a few months after I move to the US... I want us to be a normal couple for awhile.

Second of all, I was feeling just like you were last week :/ so I know how you feel....I'm sure lots of us do.

The thing right now is to go get a preggers test....you have to face the music one way or another...so get it done because you may be worrying over nothing!

Best of luck to you both....I'm sorry you're in this predicament, but either way, you both will be fine....just keep your eyes on the big picture!

Either way you two will be fine...and I'll pass on what my friends said to me....'there's never a perfect time'....now I don't know if I fully believe that 100% (I'm not insured for pregnancy so my case was different)...but at the end of the day, regardless of the probbos that we would face...it would be a blessing...hrmmmm....maybe they are right after all

You didnt miss anything..... I started both of them because I feel both ways If you read the two threads you'll understand this was just a way of letting you know exactly how I feel and of getting it out of my sistem.

Talked to a friend that just had a baby last month and she said it's normal to have mixed feelings when you think you might be pregnant. I just feel happy and a little sad at the same time..... each thread explains each feeling, that's all.

A couple months back, I was in your shoes. We thought I was pregnant, for about 3 months, no way of testing without everyone knowing. I was the same way, he was hysterical. We want kids, no doubt, but not right now. After getting back to the states, I found out that I was NOT pregnant. It was a scary thought, that for at least 2/3's of the pregnancy he wouldn't be here. That's all we thought about for the longest time.

On the plus side, if you are, you created something great. All you can do is hope you will be together SOON. Good luck! Smile, it will be ok!

Well I've BEEN pregnant - so I KNOW that feeling both ways is PERFECTLY normal.

Assuming you are prggero and its not a false alarm I mean.

But when you *are* (either now or later) your mind starts helpfully going all every possible disaster scenario you can think of (and some I think it makes up on the spot to scare you witless) - along witht he joy part.

You start imagining you will have a baby with birth defects, you're going to miscarry, yadda yadda and so on - you will go thru PANIC, and FEAR - its all normal - cos a stage of life is ending and a new one is beginning.

Don't stress on the stressing (if that makes sense) just let your mind take you thru it but know that most of these 'disasters' are unlikely. I was convinced for a while I was carrying a dead baby cos she hadn't kicked for a while - it started as a little nagging doubt and became full blown panic in about a day - when she DID kick again (and she probably had been before but I just hadn't felt it) the relief was almost enough to make me feel faint.

You will go thru highs and lows to an extremeness (is that a word? lol) you have never felt before.

And congrats if you are 'in the family way' as my nan used to say and don't worry about the being together part - the first 3 -5 months are fairly boring anyways and I'm sure he won't miss your mood swings
