I-765 Timeframe?

Hi,

I received a receipt for my I-765 work application on Aug 6th but am still waiting for it to be authorised. It's being processed in the Texas Service Centre. When I check on the Uscis site it's says they are working on May applications but on visajourney it's saying that they are towards the end of August on average.

Anyone had an I765 from Texas recently and how long did it take?

EAD in general, can take 30-90 days.

Since you haven't created a Timeline it's impossible to tell; Have you taken your biometrics yet? (This has to be done before EAD can be issued.)

Yes, my biometrics were taken on Aug 29th.

Hopefully it'll be soon then. Nearly 70 days now.

Haven't heard anything about the i-485 since my biometrics.
