VFS documents

I was reading the requirements for VFS documents, but it kinda irks me to submit all these originals to them..

do they accept notarized copies and let us carry the originals to the interview or do they absolutley have to have all originals only?

I am not familiar with the K3 process, but for the K1 all they've asked for are copies of documents, not originals. You may need to bring the originals with you to the interview, but that is it. Actually on most forms it says not to send the originals, as these "will not be returned" to you.

For CR-1 they are asking for all original documents.

My wife has originals of everything except AOS.. it seems I have to fly down there to hand deliver those forms 7 days before the interview and then wait 2 days after interview for her passport since mail never makes it to where she's living.

Im thinking to forget the K3 all together and just go for IR1.
