Ooo he said ** again. he's gettin riled up..

Are you sure you're an adult?

I'm starting to think that there's a petulant 14 year old behind your keyboard.

Generally its 14 year olds who blurt out 4 letter words because they think its "cool" or makes them sound tough. Just an observation though.

The biological definition isn't really important.

The distinctions are made in law. The law takes the view that women have the right to determine whether or not they want to have a child.

They matter to people that have a 1st grade understanding of viability and how that can be misconstrued as some strange assertion of human rights from before birth.

If only these same nutjobs would stand up for the human rights of people already walking this planet...

"I'm smart you're dumb" argument. Tell-tale sign you can't justify your position.

Whine detected.

Plenty of justification for what position pray tell? That you have no right to impose upon others or that you're using scattered arguments since you can't get any one in particular to stick?

Its not an argument. And you can't change reality. A baby is a baby.. Period. Abortion stops a beating heart.

Nice "whine" regurgitation again when you can't justify the slaughter of 45 million.

I stand behind what *I* said.

Thats comforting.

If you've only heard swear words from the lips of teenagers then you've clearly lived a very sheltered life.

It wouldn't be out of character considering your small-mindedness.

So once again... it should be rather easy for you to bypass a woman's reproductive rights and simply 'impose' err... I mean... defend the unborn.

Perhaps Joe ought to petition the scientific community to correct this biological bias - womb implants for men so that everyone can get in on the fun of childbirth.

And then women can be forced to pay child support.

A fetus is not a baby however.

The basic problem is that with a pregnancy you have the rights of two individuals one that is completely dependent on the other (Siamese twin like). Up until now if you look at the abortion question from a human rights perspective, the rights of the mother to deal with her body are dominant to the right of the fetus' life in the womb and eventually life outside it, not least because the fertilized egg has never been a guarantee of life, ever. More than that however, as has already been pointed out, you can't treat a woman like an incubator.

The real answer of course is to make abortion virtually unnecessary which would be the case if we could ensure all women have access to cheap and abundant birth control and eliminate the mentality that to take birth control is an act of wilful disobedience against some 'higher' power. Woman must have the ability to make the choices as to when and whether she has a child. Let it not be forgotten that many abortions are carried out on women who already have more than one child, it's not just a matter of ignorant/willful teens.

With education abortions ironically are supposed to decrease, right?

If only some people wouldn't be so opposed to sex ed...

Why would you need them to decrease?

No, you don't.

I get you better than you get yourself. The above is your answer to everything.

Um... because people that can make *smart* decisions don't need to put themselves in such situations?

Joe's drive for attention is working.
