Is anyone else going through frankfurt DCF? If that is the case....any idea how long it takes until you receive interview letter after sending in checklist and DS230 part I? Do they just schedule the interview forecasted and then process the DS 230 I?

Hi Isabel,

Sounds like things are moving as fast as they could be now. Try not to worry too much, we are very lucky to get to go through Frankfurt as they seem to be quick and hassle-free.

I think you have been reading the forum for a little while now and have probably seen several of us who have been posting about Frankfurt experiences regularly. If you search for "DCF Frankfurt" you will see all those threads and I think everyone has been very good about updating their timelines or their signatures with all the detailed info about how long things take. No one can give you more information than that.

Good luck!

Sit tight, Isabel.

You've already bypassed NVC, which is fantastic. But try not to get too impatient.

It takes about a week or less when you receive Packet 4, which will contain your interview date.

As SuzyBandseer said, do a search for "DCF Frankfurt" and look at a few more timelines.

Because it's the summer, it may so happen that your interview will be scheduled in about three weeks to a month. If you are completely impatient, you can call the Consulate and ask them what interview date they have given you. I called after five days and was told over the phone.

Good luck!
