I can't belive after 13 days, NVC hasn't received my approved 129 or 130.

What can be the reason? I called and spoke with a rep earlier who said that it could be 3-4 weeks to 3 months? I will definitely go crazy then..

I see people after me are already dealing with next NVC steps and so forth.. Does repeted calls to NVC help? What are my options, if any?

130 filed : 07/31

129 filed: 08/05

130 NOA2 : 09/30/2009

129 NOA2 : 09/30/2009

Peace!

No consolation here, perhaps, but I'm in the exact same boat! I-130 approval was on October 1st, but it still hasn't been received by NVC. I just keep calling each day.

For what it's worth, I spoke to the operator who did emphasize that it can take up to 90 days. Perhaps recent cases can consider themselves fortunate that the processing for this step was so swift?

Hope it gets entered into the system soon. It could b due to USCIS getting off their #### and finally working. THere seems to b huge # of cases being transitioned from USCIS to NVC.

Lets keep each other posted with new developments..Good luck to u

Same here as well, NOA2 on September 30. It's been almost 2 weeks and they still don't have an NVC number for my case yet. The operator I talked to also said it can take up to 90 days, completely offsetting what short time it took for me to get my I-130 approval (21 days) ...*sigh*... hope it enters the NVC system soon!

I actually DO find some consolation in knowing that I'm not alone in fretting over the timeline for this step. At least it shows to me (as it does to both of you) that there's a legitimate delay with NVC, as opposed to things getting lost in the mail or something along those lines.

Here's hoping we all get our case numbers in the next few days!

Its been taking a little over 2 weeks to get info from NVC.

For the waiting game, count your blessing, you did not play the waiting game at USCIS earlier this year, the last of March filers just got approved. Just prepare for NVC while you can breath, cause once you get your case numbers, its full steam ahead.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Amen to that!

Trust me, I'm grateful that the I-130 went through in only a month and a half when we were expecting it to be closer to five months. This particular waiting game is a breeze by comparison to that one! I'm optimistic that I can be in the U.S. in this calendar year...possibly by early December, judging by various things I've been reading.

Thanks Paris for the consolation.., I hope you are right about "full steam ahead" from NVC. Definitely you won't hear me complain, if that is the case. That's what people keep tell me that my USCIS journey was quick and that I'm lucky. But I know people, personally, who zoomed thru USCIS within 20 days.

Peace!

Oh yeah I know, saw the same ones within 17 days, 20 days, but when you take 145 days, its heartache when one gets thru quickly, and then you wonder Why not me? then you hear the ones whine who took 40 days or so then at NVC, whine cause not moving fast enough, you want to smack them and tell them learn compasion, okay, enough. Truly get your docs NOW in order for NVC so you can get it over with.

You will get thru NVC quickly, trust me, it was the fastest month, I'M NOT KIDDING!!! So get ready!!! Best wishes!!!!
