Hi everyone. Here is my checklist of evidence i will send to the Jerusalem Consulate, i wanted to run it through here first to see if i should add or take anything off. I am not ready to send this evidence in, i feel frantically nervous but i must get it over with since its been a month and 3 days since our appointment.

the CO told us i needed:

1) proof of domicile in the USA

2)photos and other documentation showing the strength of relationship

For proof of domicile , i will provide:

- a lease i signed with my parents stating i will reside with them and pay them rent.

- my name on a bank account (jointly with my brother because i cant open my own from Palestine)

- water utility bill under my name

- college transcript for my last 6 months ( last time i was in college was in 2008 because after that i came to Palestine)

- copy of my driver license (should i send the real thing or a copy?)

- copy of my passport (my visa expires on august 20,2009 so should i photocopy that page too showing i am only temporarily in Palestine since that is what sections B in the i-864 directions ask for?)

- copy of my college ID (again, copy or send in the real thing?)

- copy of my SSN

- i am THINKING of writing a letter and using some facts/tips/help some VJ members (trailmix and wowswift) had posted about. Should i clearly state i am TEMPORARILY in Palestine and quote sections from i-864 such as section C. here i a link to what i am talking about, go under trailmix 2nd post to see. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=164618

For proof of relationship, i will provide:

-over 60 pictures, 23 from our wedding, the rest taken on casual days

that is basically it as for proof of relationship,THIS is where i feel stumped. Since i am actually here with my husband, we never really wrote emails. we contacted each other through SMS messages while he was at work during the day. I used both ORANGE (Israel phone company) and JAWWAL(Palestinian phone company) but none of these have deals where i can go to the company and print out messages or show we messaged each other

I would use a card to recharge my phone balance and never kept the cards, the normal action to do is to get rid of them after you used them.i never knew our relationship would be on the basis of more evidence! I still have about 450 messages on my phone, but cant find a way to print them. Should i send the actually memory chip in?

any other tips on domicile and especially relationship proof ? having family/friends write letters seems like it can be easily made up/fraud so i think i want to avoid that.

ANY tips/advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you all

First; If you are sending the documents, just send copies not the actual cards... Your domicile proof seems pretty good.

Second; The relationship proof... I would REALLY insist that you have friends and family write letters and sign them, (send originals) stating your relationship together and that they know you as husband and wife... I know that this was suggested to you several times and even though you do not feel that they will be considered, since you do not have too much in the way of phone records etc... I would have them write them and bring them to the interview!!!!

Free Jerusalem,

Please do have your friends and family write letters. Make sure that they put their addresses and phone numbers where they can be reached. Letters from your parent's acknowledging that they know about your marriage and even that ya'll will be living with them. I think the letters are important for you.

Are you going back to school when you get back to the U.S.? If not, I don't know what your college information is proving for domicle. If you are going back to school and you want to send them those documents, I would think you would need something to support the fact that you are going back to school.

Don't send them any originals of your drivers license or student id. Are you sending them a copy of your visa that is expired for Palestine?

Good Luck!!

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

Okay, i will have my 2 sisters and 4 brothers each write a letter and also have my parents write one as well. BTW, the CO told us we will not go back for another interview, he said to send in all the info in the mail and if it is good enough they will ask for his visa. I don't know how much of that is true though because i have been reading many people post about a 2nd interview when they are through with AP...thank you for your help :P

I am going back to school when i go back to the USA. What can i have to support the fact that i am going back??? I don't know when our AP will be done so i CANT sign up for college at anytime then not be there when the semester begins. I don't know what to do about that.

My visa didn't expire for Palestine, sorry that was a mistake, instead of 2010 i put 2009. It will expire on August 2010. I think i will send a copy of that page. thank you :)

should i send everyone the same format for bona fide relationship? Or should i have them do their own thing as long as they follow the guide lines of having their complete names and address and all that ?

Since you are worried about them looking fake, I would definetly let them do their own thing... Just have them sign it and put their info at the bottom... As far as going back to school, if you have not enrolled or applied for financial aid, I dont think you can "prove" to them your intentions... I have intentions to get back in my skinny jeans, but cant provide proof that I will!!!...lol... :jest:

Just fyi, there ARE ways to print out text messages on your phone inbox and outbox.

I have done something similar for my proof of relationship. I don't know what mobile you use but you can search for something similar or google it now you know it exists. This was what I used to print out my entire phone inbox which shows phone number, text sent, time and date.

All you need is a USB cable to connect your phone to your computer and the right software. They probably have similar software for nokia phones and such. In this day and age, everything is available electronically.

Hope this widens your options.

Also, if you have made calls back and forth, try checking your phone bill, register online with your company provider and look for an extended phone bill showing numbers called and received. Then show a phone bill proving which number belongs to who once you have established. From your post, it seems like you used charge cards but never mentioned what phone plan he has. His phone bill might show your number.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

well i cant enroll because i don't know when we will be out of AP hell and when our visa will be in hand. its not fair for me to enroll then not be there when the time comes. It causes mix up for the colleges because that one spot for each class i took could have been taken by someone else.

lol i got a good laugh from ur skinny jeans comment lol
