Question about medical and previous records

My fiancee had an operation previously, SLMEC asked her for the records of it. However, she does not have them. She has requested the documents from the previous hospital but they are having a hard time locating them. They still told her to return on day two for immunization even if she does not have the records.

Can this hold up the medical release? We stil have nearly a month before our interview.

I think she'll be fine. I only brought a medical certificate proving that I was admitted to the hospital before. I didn't bring the whole medical records. And during my medical exam at st. luke's the doctor just took my medical certificate and attach to other documents. I think it's not a big deal since it's not a contagious disease. They are only concern about contagious diseases.

Maybe she can just get a medical certificate from her doctor if st. luke's will ask her to get one during her immunization.

It was nothing contagious. Without going into what it was...lets just say it was a common procedure. With the interview scheduled, and my airfare to see her during the interview pending (not purchased yet...but prices rising daily hehehe), I was a little concerned.

I was just curious if sometimes they ask for the records just to have them, but if not availabe, then...oh well. If it wasn't something serious, it would not affect the outcome.

St. Lukes seldom asks for records unless it could have an outcome on the persons medical or psychological state.

Examples would be scars on wrist, neck or an abortion.

Well....they did not let her get her shots until she gets the record. It was a D & C. We just have to wait until the hospital produces the record, then she can return to get immunization.

The language difference and bad phone connetion rears it's ugly head. hehehe. Not D&C but piksa (a boil). Apparently showed a scar after it required medical attention. So that is what we wait for. The record from that. :)
